If you do get a receipt wrong and do not get paid it is all a learning process. If the company states that then you know you have to comply with it. They have few ways of checking we do the jobs.
anyone getting loads of emails from Bare for inexistent jobs?
Anyone ever actually done a job for them? I applied for loads but never got accepted.0 -
I did my MS on friday night, i was in a party of 9, but got my own seperate bill to avoid confusion.
Trouble is i got a bill, but then never got a receipt for having paid cash afterwards. I have a bad feeling that the bill will not be enough, as it doesn't have transaction number and clerk number which were required. i submitted my findings and raised a query but they never got back to me yet.
I do hope it works out ok for you. Did you check it was ok with the MS company to do the job as part of a large group, rather than the scenario you were given?0 -

Hi Loopy Donna,
the spec did not say how many of you there should or shouldn't be... but to be on the safe side i took the timings from ordering to food on the table from the party of two at the next table. The answers being <7 mins for starters, <20 mins for mains. Which neither my table's nor the couple next to us were!!! The rest of the service/assesments were pretty much as it would have been for any diner regardless of the covers. (1 waitress for 6 tables, one of which was our party of 9!!!) A lot of the MS was about the environment/signage etc.
To answer your question, I didn't contact them, i just thought i would try to do it as best i could, and if it didn't work out i would be no worse off as i was always going to be at this place at that time. I won't mind if i don't get paid, but i would obviously much rather be paid! That would make it a free night out!
GR still haven't got back to me about my receipt incidently. and that was a query raised on saturday morning prior to submission of my findings....
In future i would stick religiously to the brief, especially if i was only going to do MS, not going to be there anyway.
Can anyone tell me if the status of report changes from pending payment to payment approved/verified or something to indicate it has been QA'd?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Thanks newmoneysaver: oooh, mines seems to be payment pending already... does this mean it's been Quality assured? Should i assume there is no problem with my report i submitted on saturday afternoon, if i ahven't heard from them by now? And it shows as payment pending?
What are the other status's?? (SP) If you don't mind my asking, i couldn't see it on the FAQ's.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I don't know, currently I have payment pending and paid by BACS on XXXX. I'm not sure if there are any others.0

Thanks for the response.
I was just concerned in case you were identified by the restaurant and they dispute your report. This happened to me with RE, but I had followed to the brief to the letter and reported everything accurately, and RE believed me rather than the staff.0 -
Thanks loopy... i see where you are coming from. I didn't tell any lies, not even any white ones, in my report so i would stand by anything i said. However it's good to know for future ref.
Will report back on if i get paid!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

It's a nightmare when they identify you - all they have to do is look at the receipt number or time, then consult their CCTV - most do it I'm sure, which is why I try not to shop the same place more than once every couple of months in case they recognise me!0
