Why haven't I got any burger MS yet?! Did some1 say I had to be with them (GB) 2 months? I've done 2 assignments and quite fancy a burger 1! Especially as my local is USELESS! I'd love it if they were useless when I was there, or even funnier - after asking for a receipt they started cartwheeling etc!

I can't remember how long it took me to get them but have you checked in your orientation if the burger test is available to take?
  • Heeeeyyy! I have done surveys for optimum. They are ok and are quick in paying out. Takes a couple of days for them to see you did the job ok, then you click on the invoice button next to the job completed and it pays out within the week. The surveys do look very daunting, but it shows you an example of what you will be asking and how to fill it in. I felt a bit awkward phoning people, but you will find most of them DO want to have their say about the service you are asking. A nice little earner if you have spare time.
  • I have been refreshing and logging in and out for days with grg and no jobs have come up. I went out today for an hour and missed 5! LOL! I think they know when you are out and out them on quick! Woooohooooo!

    Thanks for that!

What about the split of want to talk/don't want to talk? I'm a bit dubious about getting all ready to do it and then being turned down by 20 people and not earning anything!

I'm usually really good on the phone but for some reason I feel a little nervous about this.... I think I may have a go at some point! I have exams in about 5 weeks so I think I'll leave it until after then - then I'll be doing it through the nights! :D

Well completed my first assignment today - it went really well and felt completely normal - I was worried that I would get stage fright! It wasnt an eaterie but a shop that I visit regularly anyway. Its amazing how much you notice when you actually open your eyes.

Just managed to get a job with GR - its paying 60 is it normal to be that high? Hope its not a mis print! x

  • You will most probably find the people you phone on the optimum contact surveys are fine about talking. I have only had 1 or 2 not wnating to talk, and someone talked for over half hour! I did feel awkward at first, but these people have bought/used a product and like to give feedback. The caravan ones are the best, they really do want to tell you what they think. If you have evenings and weekends on your phone package, try to do the calls at the weekend, that way you get the whole of the survey fee.

The fee is for three visits to the same branch. So it's indeed no misprint. ;)

Whooooo Penguin! £60 seems good to me! I assume there must be a spend associated with that? I had a £30 on friday at an eaterie, and a DIY shop no spend booked for this coming weekend, but it is a no spend. Not even a pound. Which is cool!

I'm in Aberdeen/Dundee in case anyone is worried i'm poaching all the jobs in their area! Sorry!!

it really is just pot luck as you say as to whether you get lucky or not.

I still haven't had mine from Friday night verified, i'm not sure i'll get it as my receipt wasn't right. See my earlier post. Fingers crossed!

This pot isn't very lucky at all! :(
If you do get a receipt wrong and do not get paid it is all a learning process. If the company states that then you know you have to comply with it. They have few ways of checking we do the jobs.

anyone getting loads of emails from Bare for inexistent jobs?

Anyone ever actually done a job for them? I applied for loads but never got accepted.

Congratulations penguin! Glad you enjoyed your fist MS. If the 60 pounds one is a bank account opening one, they pay a premium because you have to be credit checked - which is not a good idea for many people with debt problems
