I am not actually saying that the banks employees are stirring it up i was saying that somebody has come on here said they have lost a case they have then asked for advice and when we come to down to it nobody has replied since to me in my own opinion i think that somebody is maybe telling little porkies to scare all the lloyds customers and other banks too and this isnt to upset people i know that this site is to help people but it will also help us if we know what is going on look at all the advice and questions this person has got asked and they havent replied Lets just wait and see?
And i will apoligise in advance truely if this person has lost is case we are all behind them all the way0 -

I returned a form to the FO and have received an acknowledgement from them but still no money from Lloyds. Should I contact them as it's been 10 days since they offered and if so which number do I call.
Clydesdale also settled but mad the cheque out in the wrong name. It's very frustrating now I know I've won but can't get my hands on the money.
Hi i have been with the ombudsman myself with lloyds and havent heard anything yet
how long did yours take ?
Thanks in advance0 -
Can I ask, what is the FO?0

Wondering if anyone can give me advise, I filed on line claim against Halifax on 16th May, after waiting 8 weeks and having my claim declined, paid £250.00 to the court and the claim has now been acknowledged, yesterday I receive a letter offering me 50% of the original claim, with no mention of the court costs or interest. I managed to get them to agree to the full amount that I orginaly asked for, but I would not receive the court cost or interest, not trying to be greedy but it was the halifax who told me to take them to court after the 8 weeks were up and now 2 weeks later they will offer the full amount after I have paid another £250.00 costs. I dont know what to do now should I wait until the final date of their defence time and see what happens or should I just take what they have offered me and swallow the £250.00 costs, has anyone else found themselves in this situation and if so what do you suggest I do. This Site has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process.
You could either wait or go back to them and say thank you for your offer of the full amount and you will accept it provided it includes the court costs and that they should bear in mind that if you continue with your court action it will cost them £xxxx in interest.0 -

i must admit if it was me depending on how much i was looking at i would just take it because i would just want the easy life and after all it is money you thought you had said goodbye to if it is a matter of priciple then go all the way but if you just want your money back without alot of agro i would just take it you will be x amount better off than you thought you would be a few months ago and it must be alot more than the 250 you paid out.
well done on any case:rotfl: it's all making my head spin!!!!!!0 -
