  • It's still open. I have other accounts so if Halifax were to close it I would simply move back to Nat West.
  • Please can you help my son phoned his bank and asked for a list of bank charges ,the very nice man said he would and gave him a ref number .The letter that came says they have registered and stored his complaint Please retain your bank records , as this will make it easier for you to support your complaint on resolution of the test case.
What should he do now phone them again to get a list of the charges?

Does the rent go out of the account you are reclaiming the charges from?
Is the arrears are £2400.00 have they not started eviction proceedings?

the problem is we do not have a rental agreement and the landlord gets paid in cash.(tax evading probably)
yes the landlord is putting us out next friday!!
he wrote a letter as the a&l asked for but now they are saying that it is no good(keep shifting the goalposts)
we are now in a situation when it comes to next friday we will be homeless but the A&L say that we are still not in financial hardship???

whats my next move because im running out of time and options??

Has the landlord written to you to state he is going to evict you?
Is there anywhere else you can go?
I would seek legal advice from CAB to be honest as well. Did you pay a deposit for the house?

Does your priority creditors get paid from that account ie mortgage or rent, council tax, or utilities?

The decision is still pending. October was the earliest it could be handed down after the summer recess and December 17th is the worst case scenario.
