I've been reading a lot about lloyds tsb and how difficult they can be I am trying to get back about 3k and have made the decision to employ someone to help me he takes 10% (no win no fee) but in my mind its better then nothing. Also he will be tougher then me on negotiations so I reckon I will get more with him then if I went it alone.

When you receive your list of Barclays statements, EXACTLY which charges can you claim? I've already seen a 'GENERIC' list, but specifically to Barclays, can you charge "o/d protection 400@£0.80/100 = £3.20"?..... and also "Account Fee 1 @ £6.00"?
Thank you in advance - fantastic site and really looking forward to getting stuck into this 'shower'!!
Sorry!
I know you're all WAY past my current senerio no doubt..
o/d protection sounds like service so no, no idea about Account Fee unless you have an Additions account. Please ring your bank if you don't understand what their abbreviations stand for.0 -
Hi All
Just sat and gone throught 6 yrs of natwest bank statements..total of £1398!
Was just a bit confused about a few things
1. What interest do we add to this figure?
2. Do we send the initial letter to our local branch where our account is or to head office?
3. Is it all as simple as it sounds- I'm a pretty sceptical that getting this money bank sounds too good to be true
Many Thanks0 -
margymuggins I've shifted your post from the Success Stories as although there are some posts in there asking questions, they should be in this thread.
Also the above post was posted back in September 2006 so I would hope his claim is sorted now0 -

All the information you need is within the forums
..but its not - at least not specifically(that's not to sound like an !!!!!! because this site and Martin are the dogs'!).
I spent 3 hours going through the "barclays" thread, all 94 pages, and it doesn't have an answer for my question, so......and on the 5th day, God created Sir Martin Lewis!:A0 -

How long after receiving list of charges does First DIrect take to make an offer? How near was the offer at that stage to what was requested?0
