  • Hi all

Can anyone tell me.... I have a claim on hold with Yorkshire bank, the charges run from 2001-2007.... since that claim I have incurred several more bank charges... arghhhh.... Can I now claim using the same process (template letters etc) for 2007-2009 charges?

    Thanks Steph

Is the hold with the bank or with the county court?

You don't need to write on your local court address. Simply put through my local county court. Once you have an acknowledgment then you are in the queue

  • thanks i'l just try putting that then, i'm claiming financial hardship with my claim so fingers crossed. also i was wondering if you know if i can claim back interest charged on a loan account i have with natwest, i missed a few payments due to charges that had been taken from my current account (where the loan payment comes out of) and everytime i did they charged me twenty odd pound each time. or is that the bit they are actually deffinately allowed to do? thanks :)

You don't get charged on the loan account specifically and you would be in arrears so I would probably say no. The loan direct debit being returned would have been £38.00

  • Thanks for your help, sorry i cant explain it properly, i will try again :D

my husband is been repayed £370, the account they are wanting to pay it in to is currently £450 overdrawn, of which £430approx are bank charges (he hasnt used that account for sometime) and im wondering if once the £370 has been paid in will he then be able to reclaim it as technically its more bank charges that hes paid...

I'm assuming there are 2 accounts - (a) and (b). The reclaimed £370 is from a/c (a) which they want to pay into a/c (b), which is currently £450 overdrawn (of which £430 is bank charges). Correct?

If so, he will still be able to claim on a/c (b)
Kirsty, the reason I hadn't replied further was that Orford ask the above question to clarify things. Can I just check what the response is first?

Im sorry, I hadnt even noticed that comment!

In response, No there is only one account, halifax are paying my husband for charges he has already paid but they are using the amount to pay off the £450 overdrawn amount, the thing is the overdrawn amount is all charges.

    Thanks

How much is the total amount of the charges you are claiming?
