  • hi
i opted for a settlement over 18 months ago which was ok. since july last year i have run up a few more overdraft charges. can i reclaim these back as they all occurred after the previous settlement?
  • Is there any updates on how this court case is going. What s the odds looking like.
  • Can anyone help me work out which charges I can or cannot claim back please. A direct debit sent my account with Natwest just past my overdraft limit so they charged me £38 to not pay the DD. Then I was charged £28 'maintenance charge'. I have just found out that they also intend to charge me a second maintenance charge even though I paid in enough cash to bring the account well within my overdraft limit. These maintenance charges must amount to a small fortune over the last few years - can I claim these charges back or just the DD charges?
    Many Thanks
  • I'd be grateful if someone could give me some guidence.

I not made a claim on my bank charges which I suspect exceed £2,000 (perhaps without interest), although I have all my bank statements which I requested in August/September last year and i have kept a statements thereafter.

Could someone be kind enough to advise whether I should submitt a claim as of now? I plan on working through my statements over the next few days.

    Many thanks in advance.

PS - I live in Scotland. I don't know if that makes a difference.
  • have now got round to starting my claim so have just recievd statements and now printing of the first letter to send, wish me luck

its not for a great deal but we are getting married this year so every little helpd although i dont expect to get it in time for the wedding lol.

Does anyone know why some claims are still being settled, when all others are told no settlement until the OFT case is decided? Congratulations to you for getting some of your charges, I do think that half of the claim is not a fair offer all the same.
  • Business account claims are still being paid out but not personal accounts.

hi, can anyone help? i have made claims before so i am no stranger to it. however i heard that the banks cant take charges from benefits. i work part time and currently get working tax credits and the child benefit (the one all parents get). i am still getting charged but it is being taken from my benefits and i am struggling due to this. do i have a case even though the waiver is in place?
