    Just a quick question!

    Sorry me again!

How do I contact the Woolwich s my branch that I was with last year has now changed to Barclays?
Do I take the letter into the same branch even though it is no longer woolwich?
    Thanks once again

I have entered the main branch naddress which is:
    Halifax plc
    customer relations
    po box 548
    leeds
    ls1 1wu.

DOes anyone know if I have to change it as its halifax credit card services, I am after . Someone please help as I am very very very worried?

Thanks to all who reply in advance!

You could of course go back to HSBC and try and negotiate a bit of a better deal, if you feel up to it. Have a read of the HSBC thread here...

I have gone down the long road of taking LLoyds TSb to court and was recently told it had been transferred to my local area court, and this morning I received a letter from LLoyds solicitors that is headed Strictly without Prejudice. It states they are willing to credit my account the full requested ammount if I sign and complete the box at the bottom of the letter and return in a set number of days. Obviously I am overjoyed, does this now mean this has now been settled?

    Hi Guys
I have a claim against HSBC ongoing and its now at the stage where my judgement by default request was rejected due to them putting in a last minute defence. However this was on the 5th of June and as yet I have not heard anything about a court date or court questionnaire. Does anyone on here have any idea how long the process is taking? I've e-mailed mcol but have not had a reply as I am sure they are inundated with claims.

    Bank: Barclays
    Amount Reclaimed: £575.00
    Amount they paid: £405.00
The story: Barclays would not accept liability but paid me £405.00 as a good will gesture. It took nearly 2 months for them to respond properly but I only sent one letter and I accepted because I was happy with the offer.

Now going to see if I can claim back charges from Barclaycard and Capital One credit card. I have had £100s of charges in the last 3 years but have paid off my balance. So I don't actually owe them any more money.

Has anyone ever done this before???

I am currently in the process of claiming back from Natwest and HSBC for accounts that are now closed. Natwest sent an offer of my charges back (£2666) on 6th July but only got here yesterday so turned it done as already started court proceedings. My advice would be to go for it, what have you to lose except the cost of a few stamps and letters!:j :j
