There are some lovely looking hotels on their site for your dates, lots far cheaper than £100 per night. I would defo book somewhere else.

  • I clicked on that link just out of interest... Then chuckled, because I actually stayed there last year!

It's not up a massive hill. The food was fine, the pool is saltwater which made a nice change, and there are beaches within a couple of minutes walk. Just follow the coast round and there's a little 'resort' type place with yellow sand.

I'd never been all inclusive before now, it was a nice experience but not one I'd be that fussed about in future: my ex loved it though because she could drink all day...

The room was lovely, there was a division between the sleeping area and living area that made it seem much bigger than it is.

It seems a lot like you're putting way too much pressure on this holiday though... It's hard to enjoy something when you're worried about every last detail. If it's changeable, and you find somewhere you like better, go for it. But I had a good holiday in that hotel and would go back.

Pueblo Torviscas - we had a studio. We self-catered as we knew from experience (been there a few times) that the food is fairly cheap while being good in that area (breakfast from 2.75 euros, dinners from 7 euros upwards) and only 10 minutes walk to the supermarket (there is one right opposite too but is priced for convenience more than bargains)

Ryannair flights, get the 111 bus from the airport (literally walk out the airport exit and the bus stop is about 20 feet away) bus costs roughly 2.50 euros to the Costa Adeje bus station.

Well done Victory, have a good time.

By the way the hotel in Tenerife was only adult only for package holidaymakers. They accepted noisy children and babies from independent travellers.

Victory I hope you have a nice time now you've changed the hotel. I always use trip advisor and yes you get the odd rogue reviewer with a silly review but on the whole it's normally right. I don't book anywhere until I've been on there.

I'm also pleased you're not going to Americas as its very 'Brits abroad' tacky around there. We went there to visit the waterpark & have a meal & that was enough!

I'm sure you can go to Venice one day, you could have afforded it this time if you weren't going away on a bank holiday weekend.

As far as I can see its only the top review that is bad. The reviews underneath are mostly giving it top marks. You always get one weird fussy person making comments and its so much easier to believe the one bad review than the numerous good reviews. If its on a mountain then surely it wouldn't be that suitable for OAPs.
