    It's coming on the 21st Lucky :) I'm so excited! :)

Spent a small fortune today on coffee and food, have no idea how I actually managed to function on the little sleep I had. Zzzzzzz

Where does the time go? One minute I'm waiting for my freezer and the next it's here waiting to be filled.

I'm going to do my first muscle food order and see what the meats like. Do lots of batch cooking and fill the freezer full :)

Extensive initially but once full it should stop us 'just popping to the shops' for milk or bread which then leads to £5+ spent

It's our smaller shops which really added up. We get a meat delivery once a month which lasts us and saves us quite a bit of money.

My huge 72 piece meat order comes Wednesday. £47 feels like a good deal.

The meat arrives tomorrow whilst I'm at work and DH is home  I know that he's just going to chuck it all in the freezer so I'm planning a slow and steady sort it and cook it marathon.

If I had more energy I'd be preparing the freezer now with labels but I'm wrapped up in bed after a long day and a runny nose. Arrrchooooo!

    Sniff, sniff....

But I feel like superwoman as the dried washing is folded, the wet washing hung up, the kitchen tidy and the tent in the living room taken down. :j

P.s. DS had his first friend sleep over last night :p

44 days to Christmas apparently  A £90 book order is on its way and a large portion of my list is bought for. Hard to think of money saving when big spends are to be done.

Damage limitation is the name of the game this month!

DH is still cooking 2-3 times a week which is lovely to come home to.

My house is currently filled with pumpkin pie, double cream, tiffin, quiche and fresh walnut bread - it's no wonder I've put on 2 stone but oh my, the food is good.

We've reduced our online food shop to every other week, rather than every week and just pick up odds and sods during the week. I'm hoping it will reduce our spends a bit but I'm not sure as its very hard not to get tempted with convenience food.

DH had a blonde moment yesterday :rotfl: The charity bag by the door that he was to place by the road side he instead placed in his car boot, only to realise once he'd came home again.

I like the idea of KonMarie and the old style thread is really motivating but totally not practical for our house unless I could magically disappear the kids for a week so I've also been reading a bog called A slob comes clean. Filling a charity bag each time one comes through the letterbox is really making a dent in the amount of stuff we have, even if I do get twinges thinking that I should sell the stuff.
