We went to mum's today and got fed a lovely bbq
I also picked up her car which I'm to keep for 6 months until dad can drive again.
I'm going to be totally spoiled, being able to just jump in the car and for a 30 min walk to take 10 in the car.
DH had put his name forward to be on call 24hrs for a week once a month. It should be an extra £200 (with no calls) every month. I said to go for it as spending money comes easily to us!

The bright, warm evenings are making bedtime a nightmare. DH says it's because I'm soft as the kids play up more for me. I'm just that much more cuddly
Only tomorrow to go and it's the weekend!
Swimming fees have been paid, football fees paid, taster session booked for gymnastics and I've just started yoga once again. It's all money but good fun and means I get to meet new people.
An large proportion of friends simply aren't interested in making any effort atm.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

The almost five year old is currently trying to fall asleep, on the floor, cuddling my ankle. #rolls eyes# now, do I move him when he falls asleep or not?
Tell me yours has discovered attitude too please Muser.
This weekend is strip the beds, catch up on washing and clean the windows time. Two weeks of working full time has impacted on the state of the house and I need to catch up as DH and I are away in Bourton next weekendWill be worth every penny and hopefully I'll come back prepared to attack the house and garden with gusto.

So after my big washing adventure which resulted in the washer/dryer being on for 4 days straight, thanks to the lovely weather
The rainy days have meant that I'm almost caught up with the windows and general house tidying again.
Our weekend in Bourton on the Water was lovely but DH missed the kids :O so we came home early and got mum to cook us lunch. Spent £110 on the room (poor quality but we paid for location) £100 on food over the day (the restaurant was fantastic!) and £50 on bits and bobs which included toys for the kids. It was lovely to have a relaxing 24hrs but highlighted that DH is a city guy and I need to organise our time better next time.

It has been almost four weeks since I’ve been on MSE, that’s a month!
What have we been up to…?
DS was sweet on his birthday, he came down to the dining room table covered in toys (half of which were second hand) He was over the moon and we got lots of very sweet thank you’s.
DS’s birthday trip to Legoland was good fun. I managed to get 5 tickets for £75 and we spent £125 at the park on food and lego, even though I did take a backpack full of food. We got soaked and boiled in equal measure thanks to the changeable weather. :rotfl:
Two days of normality, a nice meal out with the girls from work and I got ill.I got the flu in June! Cue the house falling into chaos and us having to order the bathroom a week later with me looking like death and no voice. It certainly was an experience.
But the bathroom is now ordered, it’s been almost two weeks of arguments and shouting at each other but it’s ordered and work starts tomorrow. The bathroom budget has doubled btw
I’m looking forward to living at Mum’s for a few weeks, almost a rest and slightly less responsibility, maybe even a couple of lie-ins. :beer:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
