Soo I'm busy but not busy but should be doing more but just want to drink tea, eat biscuits and read a book :rotfl: Makes perfect sense I'm sure :rotfl:

Dad is home and on bed rest for a week or so as he's still getting dizzy so we're going to visit them Sunday and be fed a good meal ;) There's no bread, cheese, ham and we're running out of milk!

However, there a musclefood delivery arriving today so at least we'll have meat to eat. I feel I got a good deal but do keep meaning to ask our local butcher how much a large order would be and if they'd deliver it. I'm sure I'll get round to it one day.

Almost 8pm and still sunny :)

Unfortunately I'm still not feeling motivated, most likely due to the fact that I made myself physically sick eating too much chocolate yesterday :o DH literally asked me how old I was

I've spent a lot on food this week £50 meat and £100 groceries, inc nappies. Should last a good while as pasta and rice have been stocked up again. The meat took me a couple of hours (yuk, I hate getting gunk under my nails) but it's been frozen in portions and I've tried something new with some of the chicken: I cooked it in the slow cooker, shredded it with my hand mixer and froze in my muffin tin to make easy portions. I'm have to let you know how it tastes

Scrummy chicken noodle soup made and eaten, was going hopeful that DS would eat it as he's full of cold but porridge it was for him and hot milk and honey. I've started making my noodle soup with miso and tomyum paste which really gives it good depth and flavour. There's practically no chicken in it either ;) just left over juices from when I cooked the chicken.

I think May is going to be good money wise, I'm counting on DH putting in his full amount at least! The new insurance payments are going to start coming out though £67per month! _pale_

Just have to resist all the pretty clothes that are appearing! I've started jogging again now I've wore in the trainers.

Sorry to hear your dad is unwell.

Well done on the jogging, its great for blowing off the cobwebs and releasing endorphins.

You asked me about snacks. Children in school fulltime (Ds in nursery wraparound) so snacks in the day less of an issue but its usually just fruit. We try and buy the @ldi super 6 as children have 3-4 portions each daily!

Not jogging far at all Lucky :o I'm currently trying to go 1km without stopping :o a pathetic distance to a runner. But as I lack consistency small steps have always been the way I get things done, hence the name SmlSave!

DS decided to help me out with running yesterday, straight after dinner :rotfl: I'm glad his legs are little as I couldn't have gone fast at all, up and down the street quickly with him showing me his 'go fast' hands :p

I'm glad mine aren't the only ones who devour fruit CathT. There's never any to make smoothie with as they eat the lot. We have a real problem eating healthy on the weekends, the fruits been eaten by then and DH pops to the shop. Today I asked him for bread, eggs, milk and one treat to share with DS friend which he interpreted as 3 lollipops, 12 bags of crisps and peanut butter.

    :rotfl:

I then got baking and have made cheese/veg muffins, biscuits and fruit bread. I've had to freeze the muffins as we couldn't stop eating them!

Instead of going for a run last night I sat and drank a couple of pints of cider  It would have been slightly better to do both, DH was a miserable sod and had a strop.

In fact DS had thrown a strop earlier in the day and DD was a nightmare the night before - I'd say I was due one but I was miserable on Monday

Soooo.....as I've a few days overtime next month I'm planning to go away for a night with DH to Bourton on Water and in the summer with Mum to the beach with the kids.
