That's bad new about the car, I hope no one was injured. How was lego land, I've never been there as it's so expensive, did you use vouchers?
Congratulations on the competition:T I hardly win anything either, though I'm always entering things, oh well you have to be in it to win it:) I hope the photo shoot goes well

Thankfully our car was just dented and the other car was just scratched so we are waiting to hear how much a repair will cost - DH knocked on their door again yesterday but got no reply so we just have to wait.
Legoland was a good day out and thanks to a full backpack of snacks our spends were : £12 coffee, £11 ice creams and £20 takeaway when we got home. The only bad bit of the day was leaving the park which took forever because of traffic and DD screamed for an hour as she was fed up and tired.:(
Crumpets, I got 2 tickets through the sun deal and 2 through tesco vouchers so we saved a lot on the ticket price.
DS enjoyed himself but tbh is still too young, he would have enjoyed himself just as much at softplay with us giving him our full attention. He very much wants us to play with him atm which is lovely but hard work as dinner still needs to be cooked etc.

We're of to centre parks Friday :j I'm very excited and have booked the spa for me, a chocolate class and a pirate adventure for DS. I'm not sure how we'll manage swimming with DD only being 4 months, I guess DH and I will have to take turns.
Certainly no money saving going on here atmwe went and spent £250 on photos but they are gorgeous.
The back of the garden is finally clear of junk and level to DHs satisfaction. We've agreed to take £500 from the emergency savings so we can get it finished this year. The play bark alone costs £250 and then we need sand and weed membrane too.
BIL has helped out loads with all the digging and has said that we can get pallets from his work to build a compost binDH then mentioned that he drives past help yourself manure every day so once the compost bin is built I'm filling it up with manure ready to improve the garden when I'm able.
Knowing that BIL can get hold of pallets has got me all excited about what you can build with them - a play house for the kids would be my first choice.
DD is now able to reach for things she wants and often holds her feet now, its very sweet. Her passport application got rejected yesterday as my signature touched the edge of the box - I almost burst into tears as is not exactly easy to get into town and I had been soaked through from the downpour.
Probably tmi but DS used the potty for a no2 two days in a row! Please, please, please let this be the start.....Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

DS is finally sorted for day time toilet usage which is wonderful
so just night time to deal with next. He was so grumpy today that I bribed him with ice cream to nap which thankfully worked.
Centre parks was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed the little beach, play parks and swimming pool. We still spent a fortune even though I took lots of food with us. For example, 3 pancakes and drinks cost £30!
I used my birthday money to buy some new clothes so have to make some space for them. DS and DD have also just had growth spurts so their clothes need sorting too. My friends normally get first choice but I'm thinking of trying to sell the good ones by doing eBay. Having never done it before I'm a bit nervous.
Hope everyone is well.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Centre parcs sounds great! It sounds crazy expensive though, sounds like you tried your best with taking food with you. I always pass clothes on to my friends that my two have grown out of, but there are always some I try and sell on, eg special occasion outfits, certain brands of clothing, it's always worth a try.
Well done to Ds for using the potty :T that will save you a few penniesMortgage March 2011 £143,927.6

Hi everyone I'm reporting in to say that we're all alive and kicking! Hard to believe that two months have gone by so fast.
DS is enjoying preschool and when the world's not doing exactly what he wants he now hits and spits which is just lovely to deal with.
DD can commando crawl faster than I can think and stands at every opportunity. We're loving blw and she is coping well with nursery so I'm starting back work in Dec.
DH got paid his bonus Friday so after new glasses etc hopefully the savings can be repaid a bit.
I think that's it for nowI've got roast lamb on the go with Apple pie.....

Whoops, its been over a month again!
Things have been a little challenging lately with some ups and a fair few downs but I think we are slowly getting back on track.
I've lost my oomph lately and slowly but surely I'm going to get my life organised again. I think returning to work in January will help with this and we just need to convince DD that it is possible for her to sleep longer than a couple of hours and we'll be cooking
Speaking of cooking I'm pleased to say that I've started to use my breadmaker again. This does mean that I'm eating an awful lot of bread and butter atm as you just have to taste test each batch - don't you? ROTFL
DS has been a star this week, more than making up for being a monster the week before. Blonde and blue-eyed he can act as well as look like an angel sometimes
DD is going through a growth spurt and feeding every 1-2 hours which is exhausting! She can now pull herself up using the furniture so soon nowhere will be safe.
Hope everyone is well.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
