16 working days left to go
I'm trying to think up a meal plan which only requires me to actually cook something 2-3 times a week with the rest being freezer meals. Only when I start to think of meals it feels like I only make the same things over and over again!
Sigh
Popped into Boots and picked up two birthday presents for a grand total of £8 as they were in the 70% saleI also picked up my expensive lip balm at £10 and received at the till a voucher for £5 off No7! Said lip balm will be returned and re-bought with voucher :T

4 weeks but only 16 working days to go…… :j
And we are getting treated to lunch today at an Italian across the road. I’m looking forward to an extended lunch break but I certainly wouldn’t have picked the restaurant but you never know - I might be pleasantly surprised.
Then a meal out tomorrow at the local ‘fancy’ restaurant which is a present from the in-laws and a DS free night :T
Overall it’s a nice start to the week.
Stripping DS’s room went well on Friday and DH has pulled out the ceiling, skirting, built in cupboard and lots of plaster over the weekend so it really looks like a bare shell atm. Apparently his credit card bill is £700  and as always there’s more to buy…………..such as plaster, paint and we’ve decided to go for dinosaur wall stickers as there’s simply no decent wallpaper available.
I’ve managed £200 to the ISA and an extra £100 to the joint account to keep it looking healthy.

I was pleasantly surprisedOrdered the special being seabass and it was lovely. Even got offered a taste of pizza (from someone whom I wouldn't have expected to) and it was lovely too.

It seems to be going well Alchemilla although I'm getting a little worried about baby being on the large size.
DS was 8lb10 and I'm definitely bigger this time! I'm hoping that as bubs is much more active than I remember being last time that it just means she's got more water/room to move about in. I doubt there's any chance of me just sneezing her out with a 9lb+ baby!!!:rotfl:
DH just wants the birth over and done with. I think he just keeps remembering me getting whisked away last time while I'm being optimistic.
Today I returned the No7 lip balm and tomorrow I shall buy it again with my £5 voucherI also have to pop into the bank with £31 in pennies which I removed from the penny jar
I'm really looking forward to our meal out tonightCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Glad to hear the pg is going well. Don't worry about being massive - I think generally women are bigger second time around because stomach muscles don't put in as much effort! I was completely gianormous with DS3 but it mostly turned out to be water!Updating soon...0

Thanks Courgette
Our meal out was lovely although DH got annoyed by the slow service.
The house is currently absolutely covered in dust. Every time I wipe a surface down the next day its covered again. Poor DH has worked his socks off all week and the room will just get its coving and skirting tomorrow.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Got home yesterday to find DH stood by a bucket and looking up at a leak in the living room  Thankfully it was a quick fix but honestly what more can go wrong?
The dishwasher is tripping the electrics.
The flat roof is going to cost £1200 and I told the insurance company £500 - this will teach me to take what DH says over the phone instead of checking the written quote!
Another wall's plaster had to come off in DS's room so still no coving or skirting.
We've already replaced the boiler, removed countless foundations from the garden, made the trees safe, cleared the guttering ...... can we please have a few months where nothing needs doing?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
