Still not OP'd my £60 as Natwest's phone is soo busy, I waited 15mins this
time. grrrrr
You managed to do this yet? I have a natwest mortgage and I have to overpay by Standing Order. Strange.
Apple pies sound lovely :stomach grumble:DH was very chuffed with himself yesterday, He took lunch to work and put £5 in
his savings
I'd love to say that his savings are for the house or the mortgage but in
honesty they are for a gadget, he just can't decide on a Kindle Fire or new Xbox
atm!
Hahahahaha! Slow and steady though - I'm sure he will soon be won round!M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -

Look on the bright side :cheesy: at least he's saving towards his 'gadget' and at least he's choosing between the two and not buying both :money: :rotfl:April 14 Deposit Target: [STRIKE]£31,660[/STRIKE] £35038/67,620 -[STRIKE] 46.82%[/STRIKE] 51.81% (£15582 to save + £17k from car sale)

Finally did my OP by requesting the local branch to do it. They won't let me do it online, I think because my OP's are few and far between. Apparently this facility will be available.....one day
Hi janinehI'm impress by him saving at all!
Ahem, we may have just ordered a new camera thoughUnder £200 and I'm blaming the baby as I want to take nice photo's and our current camera has been dodgy since I dropped it in the paddling pool.
Had a nice day and a nice nap with DS yesterday. He's such a funny thing, a playgroup rather than sing with the children he stood up with his hands on his hips and directed them what to doSo funny to see.

My last working Monday for a while
Had a productive weekend as I made enough chilli to do 6 meals, the coving and skirting are up in DS's room, both have been painted and the ceiling too.Mum is coming round Thursday to help me paint as much as we can while distracting DS.
I'm hoping to have enough energy to hover upstairs and prep a couple of walls tonight - fingers crossed.
The spreadsheet is saying that there's only £96 left in the account to last the month  Thank god for our float and the fact that I get paid next week and can put in £400.
DS's account is earning such little interest that I've put his money in with my ISA to bump them both up. It means that I have to keep a careful track of what he gets given but I'll earn more interest and when he's older will double the amount when he gets his own account.
...I will now attempt to do some more work.....
P.S. I have the most beautiful bruise on my bump where I must have walked into a table!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I am so glad that I've only got today and Friday to work through, just had to deal with an absolute idiot of a client. I hope he gets leprosy.
And a couple of new computers are getting installed today which is very exciting for my colleagues. However when they start asking me about where their personally coded software cd's are my blood pressure starts rising - I very clearly told everyone in the office that they were personally responsible for theirs. Turns out they just dumped them in the storeroom
On a brighter note we went out for a lovely tapas meal last night which overall cost only £20 and there's change enough that's going to buy bits and pieces for a small leaving party for me FridayCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Sounds like you have been very productive!
Are you taking a full year mat.leave off?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
I'd love to take a full year off but will probably take 9 months this time as having DS in nursery is a drain on our funds. Of course it all depends on how baby is with taking a bottle/eating etc.
I had the whole year with DS and loved it but for some reason I'm really nervous about mat leave this time.
Ohhh, I forgot to say that I filled and prepared most of the walls Tuesday night and DH went over them yesterday night so we should be able to just start painting tomorrow morning. I do wonder what sort of mess DS will get himself into though!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

It's my last working day today :j Work bought me a beautiful changing bag http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us...-Plum(0101750) plus £20 to spend on reflexology So a good start to the day.
DS's room is now paintedAnother cost of the feature walls is needed but that won't take long at all
The radiator will be put in tomorrow and then its just carpet, furniture and the wall stickers! DH admitted that he's too scared to add up all the receipts as he reckons it'll be over £500.
It'll be my last full paycheck on Monday :eek:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
