lol, I hope not. I think that midwives live on chocolate and cake!
I'm too much of a risk for the birth centre basically, they don't want things to go wrong and then to get blamed. It's for my safety overall but I was still hopeful that they'd admit me, seeing that the centre is a corridor away from the delivery suite.
But I promised DH that if the manager of the birth centre said no that I'd stop pushing for it and accept that I'm going to be in the delivery suite and there's no chance of a water birth.
Of course, this time I'm just going to sneeze and baby will pop out!
Hi mouche and welcome
DS has been really good all day and even though he's started sleeping through the night recently we snuggled down for an after lunch nap which ended up being for almost 1.5hrs! Was a real struggle to leave such a toasty bed but of course now I'm wide awake!
I had a really productive day today with 2 loads of washing done, hovering, kitchen floor washed, a proper dinner cooked and a few more surfaces dusted and wiped. Not bad at all
I also liberated over £1.50 from DH's wallet for the change jarCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I'm going to make an OP of £60 on monday
Tried to today but I got bored after waiting 10mins on the phone. It's made up of £30 cashback and £30 pennies. This may be the only OP this year but I'm still chuffed.

So you should be. You have more important priorities!

2 weeks till mat leave ....
and 4 weeks to (hopefully) the big sneeze
Still not OP'd my £60 as Natwest's phone is soo busy, I waited 15mins this time. grrrrr
A productive weekend with DS's room getting a coat of paint (more still to do), I actually did some baking (apple pies) and downstairs got dusted (again!)Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Why, oh why do roofers/builders say they'll come out one day and then never turn up? They should know better than to say a specific day if they are not able to keep it. grrrr
On a lighter note I got a lovely cuddle when waking DS up this morning
Then he came and 'helped' me go on the toilet by holding my hand and watching all the action ::o Daddy then got told of this wonderful time with words such as plop and smelly etc
:rotfl: the joys of potty training eh!?!
DH was very chuffed with himself yesterday, He took lunch to work and put £5 in his savingsI'd love to say that his savings are for the house or the mortgage but in honesty they are for a gadget, he just can't decide on a Kindle Fire or new Xbox atm!

Oh I love the graphic description by Smllet! We start toilet training in the summer so have all the joy to look forward to.
Good for OH - saving for his own gadget is better than raiding the household savings!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)
