Congratulations smlsave, I say buy pink babygrows that way if bump does turn out to be blue you can make him sleep in the pink ones at night so that won't be wasted :money: Shh don't tell my ds1 (he didn't really have a pink eeyore babygro handed down from dd ):rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

reminded me of a mum at school i saw with a new baby in a pink snow suit, i said shes beautiful whats her name... its james i just cant justify buying blue when i have pink...:rotfl:
dont think even im that tight!!0 -
My old neighbour did the same with a snowsuit, it was blue though, it was her son's first.
I knew she had had a girl, as she was my neighbour, but all the mums at school were asking what's 'he' called. 'Well Sarah actually.'
I can see the logic, as they don't wear snowsuits that often, I'd put blue on a girl, but not pink of a boy IYSWIM.
Apparently they always don't say 100% for girls, that's what I've heard, no personal experience as I didn't find out with my three.OPs so far £42,139

I almost bought a pretty purple dress outfit today armed with a code for £15 off and a free changing bag. But apparently my code is out of date so I'll only get one or the other and I decided that £14 was too much when I saw a cute outfit at asda for £8
DH would never let me dress DS in anything slightly girlie! But dressing a girl in boys stuff I reckon I can get away with if I accessorise with a flowery headband and maybe decorate the plainer tops with flowers too (maybe get Mum or Nan to do this as I never get round to these things)
Came home yesterday to a bag of carrots, a marrow, courgette and a tomatoI'll have to do some more baking soon.

Well DH is in Berlin for work this week and DS (with his innate timing talent) has come down with a cold. Poor thing but he can't sleep in our bed this week or it'll undo all the hard work we've put in to get him sleeping in his own bed.
I've spent the morning emailing the Council, MP and Enviro Agency to object about a Biomass Plant they want to build a few streets away. Only found out about it on Saturday due to a leaflet being delivered and apparently we've got until Thursday to object!
DH told me that he thought that the application had been dismissed so didn't tell me about it but it turns up that it had just been delayed.

Staying round Mum's tonight and apparently there's hm pie for dinner
Had a horrible dream that one of the trees in the back garden fell down over two gardens last night so that's a sharp kick to get contacting tree surgeons for quotes! I dread to think of what that's going to cost.
Shouldn't moan though about spending on needed things as next weekend I'm off for a girlie night staying in a hotel, having dinner and a couple of spa treatments. I can't wait
Then in Dec my friend wants company in Bath for a massage and shopping trip - how can I refuse
And no, I can't really afford this atm but I have a nice 0% cc and next year there won't be many treats to be had apart from new underwear!
I promise that I will not dip into the savings to treat myself.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

ooh - nor me! If I HAD to rigidly stick to a strict 'no fun' regime I would be so miserable and would likely go on a spending blowout. Bit like dieting, I guess - an occasional small treat to keep it all moving forward. I know some can live in total frugality/ diet in a totally committed way, but I can't do either!:D
