I delivered a few slices of flapjack up the road last week and now my fridge is full of pears, cucumber and tomatoes! Got a nice little barter system up and working

Also said a hello of a gentleman who was cutting carpet in his garage and ended up getting given a tour of his house which he's doing up. Looks lovely and next bake day I will drop in a treat for him to say thank you.

Here I am worrying about a long trip with 2 and you did it with 4 greent! I'm sure the trip won't be as bad as I'm imagining it could be.

No I didn't get round to making them sml, but they're still on the list glad your holiday went well, we've never done the butlins thing with our brood. Is there plenty to keep the little ones happy?

Although I am hopeful that the Nan's will go crazy and my friends have some hand-me downs

You asked about Butlins Crumpets. Ds loved it and he's 2.4 and just slightly too short to go about half the rides they have. We were at Minehead and the beach was lovely, the pool great and Ds loved dancing to the evening shows and running around crazy. They even have an indoor soft play area.

We must be a bit snobby though as me and Mum couldn't quite believe the number of parents we saw trying to encourage their kids to eat sweets!

Anywhoo on a MSE matter we have changed utility supplier to edf to get their fixed deal thereby not getting hit by all the price rises. Apparently it should save us over £100 a year but as this is our first winter in the house I'll wait and see.
