Someone keeps kicking my stomach :D I wonder if it's because baby likes the bar of nougat I'm currently eating.

Butlins was good fun and DS had a blast :T We've booked a weekend for Oct 2014 and I'm going to keep checking the online prices to see if I can make use of their price match guarantee ;)

Did you end up making cheese scones Crumpet?

I delivered a few slices of flapjack up the road last week and now my fridge is full of pears, cucumber and tomatoes! Got a nice little barter system up and working :)

Also said a hello of a gentleman who was cutting carpet in his garage and ended up getting given a tour of his house which he's doing up. Looks lovely and next bake day I will drop in a treat for him to say thank you.

Here I am worrying about a long trip with 2 and you did it with 4 greent! I'm sure the trip won't be as bad as I'm imagining it could be.

Well off to bed for me, I hope to catch up with a few diaries tomorrow

Ahh - I'm sure it will be fine. The reality is often better than what we think in situations like that :D x

No I didn't get round to making them sml, but they're still on the list :D glad your holiday went well, we've never done the butlins thing with our brood. Is there plenty to keep the little ones happy?

I'm 80% delighted for you :rotfl:

Thanks everyone :) If I should happen to walk past a cute girl outfit I may be persuaded to buy the same ;)

Although I am hopeful that the Nan's will go crazy and my friends have some hand-me downs :o

You asked about Butlins Crumpets. Ds loved it and he's 2.4 and just slightly too short to go about half the rides they have. We were at Minehead and the beach was lovely, the pool great and Ds loved dancing to the evening shows and running around crazy. They even have an indoor soft play area.

We must be a bit snobby though as me and Mum couldn't quite believe the number of parents we saw trying to encourage their kids to eat sweets!

Anywhoo on a MSE matter we have changed utility supplier to edf to get their fixed deal thereby not getting hit by all the price rises. Apparently it should save us over £100 a year but as this is our first winter in the house I'll wait and see.
