Okay, so back after my birthday!

So bills stand as such :
€206.37 after I gave a meter reading
( including arrears from last bill)
€230 car insurance including this months.. OH can cancel this cos the car is going this week..
€480 on credit card
€250 in littlewoods
Things are ticking over (just about)
Cancelled my sky and giving notice to my landlady tonight, she mightn't be very happy but I'm heading away on the 4th of September so I kind of need to get things organised.
My internet bill is a 12 month bill so I've no idea how to get out of it without paying the massive penalty €331 compared to €225 if I was to continue until the end of the year with it.. Its the only bill that will cause me trouble if I cancel it.. Bah humbug!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey! God, I can't believe I haven't been on this for ages!
Well, its been a hectic month. I offically moved to Bahrain so currently trying to relax and not worry about having a job!
I also got officially engaged and will be picking up my ring at the end of the month (16 days and counting!).
So I left Ireland but not my problems it seems, I have my littlewoods account to pay off, my credit card is still only has €40 paid off it and I've to deal with the internet bill that I left hanging...
So I have my holiday pay to get from work which will be paying off my flights for when I want to come back out in november (better to book them sooner and save moola).. HOPEFULLY I will be getting my deposit back from our landlady, she's being so shady it's unreal. €600 is a lot to lose and I could stand to pay off my remaining bills before I go. My mum still owes me €200 for the car but I feel mean asking her for it.. Is that right?
OH is being amazing, we don't have to pay many bills out here so it's great to be able to live with no debt here. Set up my online banking so I'm well chuffed with myself!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

(again!) Absolutely thrilled for you
You'll have to put up a pic of the ring!!
Sounds like things are going really well so far, but it'll just take a little bit longer to settle. Really happy for you
Fingers crossed you get the deposit back from LL. Debts will be easier paid off if outgoings aren't too high where you are. And I know how you feel about asking family to pay back what they owe
Congratulations again!

ah thanks very much! Super excited now, hoping cos I'm away that wedding planning won't be too stressful. Okay, so I've to tot up a few bits and then do a proper budget at the end of the month when OH gets paid.
I've no bills here (heating, internet, tv and electricity) all included in rent which is fab. OH's company pay most of our rent, I think we pay a little extra but have to clear up with OH how much that is as he paid the rent off for a little while.
Some food is more expensive here, but we use carrifore (french shop) and hoping to get to another big french shop here to stock up, means we don't have to do as much to grab in the more expensive small shops.
Other than that, balancing checks is what I'm at!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Right so I've totted it all up and my debt altogether stands at €1335.
Considering I've been putting things on the extremely long finger, this isn't too bad.
OH gets paid on the 28th and then I'll see how much I get out of it, we are paying the rest off my ring that day and collecting it so we will see whats left in the coffiers!
On my side of things, trying to get my deposit is a pain in the !!!. As well as trying to get the money my mum owes me, which I feel awful about asking for! If I get my deposit back it means I can whack €400 off my debt painlessly. Which would be epic!
Todays plan : Start eating healthy! Since I came here, I've been rather bold so I've decided that today is the day I start!
30 minutes upstairs in our gym later in the day, the heat helps when your working out!
Look up bits and bobs for the wedding. Since I'm not working right now, getting this organised is probably them most important 'work' I could be doing to use my time wisely. That, plus meal planning means that even though we will be using OH wages, I should be helping to spend less..094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey Everyone!!
So having €80 paid off my debt today, thats whats left in my account that I'm gonna use to get kicked off.. September is an awesome time to start, new clear goals.. Still the same, just with a little focus on wedding stuff as well.
Going to get on to my mum today and see what she says about the deposit from my house, I can't really afford to make the calls back home from here but I will if it comes down to it!
NSD for me yesterday as the OH took me to the cinema.. Hoping for another today as tomoro night I am going out to meet my OH's new boss' and their wives! Ahhh094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Can you both use skype to make the calls? Even just use a headset if there's no webcam. Save you £££

What did you see at the cinema?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
My mum hopes to get my deposit back today, fingers and all toes crossed!
Seen Red2 at the cinema, which was excellent I must say, very funny!
Today, I plan to lounge about the house. I have a bit of a dodgy tummy so I think it was the takeaway OH brought home last night after we went to GAA training..
Got most of the housework done this morning, just got the counters to work down and the dishes to do! After that, I plan to spend the day researching things for the wedding. Since I'm no working atm, it seems like the sensible thing to do, saving money on the little things will be equivalent to the amount of time I put in, kinda like paying myself a wage!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hiya!

How are you? Hope the dodgy tummy was quick to disappear!
Will likely wait for DVD Red 2. Last thing I seen at the cinema was Elysium which I loved. Gravity is next on my to-see list!
