I've not had good experiences with ebays unfortunately!
MSE today.. Spent €2 on food thoughout the day including lunch cos I did 6 hours overtime today (that'll be money in the back pocket!
)
Feeling a lot better as I know this time next week I will have a few of these bills off my back and feel a bit looser!
So I've got to make out a budget for the next couple of weeks, I'm going away on the 27th to Bahrain for a week to visit the OH and see if there is anything else I like. Planning on getting all my purchases online for the next little while through cashback websites. Do any of you know any good ones that are reliable?? Thinking if I could get back €60 of my flights that would be pretty good.. So I get paid on the 26th and my OH is putting €1200 into our joint account so I've got to pay some of our bills off and he wants me to put money towards my flights as well..
Haven't made it to the shops yet this week, thinking I can stretch out my food until tomoro when I can hit the shops..
Off for a snooze and a read in the sun!

Hope you're enjoying the sunshine! And hope you've managed to stay away from the shops a couple extra days too

Oh I have.. So I did nearly spend my €50 however it was on food, petrol and a bday pressie.. I have €5 left in my purse..
I've been quite good the last few days spending wise so I'm quite happy. Taking the lunch to work really helps!
I keep looking up my flights, the best flights are around €650. Going to try and get a ethiad frequent flyer card and also going to try to buy my tickets through a cashback website. I dunno how quick it is to get money from fatcheese at the minute but I'm definitely going to try!
Got a free courgette today at work cos my boss took it in.. I made spag bol and when I was draining my pasta it all fell into used water from my dishes in my sink.. LOL Guess I should cut down my carbs anyway!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Totted up my outgoings for this month that doesn't include my braces or rent : €2642.80
€666 flights to see OH (has to be done!)
€500 Hotel deposit for wedding (also ditto before anyone else wants our wedding date)
€108.43 Internet bill
€158.37 o2 bill
€280 Electricity bill ( I got another bill but I have to phone them up as its far too high)
€150 car insurance
€500 credit card
€288 Littlewood account
It makes me really pull my hair out.. I'm definitely getting around €1920 incomings so this will make a big difference in it I think.. I might leave the last two on the long finger but hopefully I will have all the rest of the bills paid..
Will keep you guys posted on this!
I've lots of food in the house I hope to last me.. Even though its my birthday this time next week, its going to be a very tight month but having these bills paid will keep me happy..094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Outgoings are quite steep
Are your internet and O2 bills normally so high?? Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Well the o2 bill is the last bill so no more afterwards!
The internet bill is that steep as I haven't been able to pay it all off every month and it's just accumulated!
But a spot of good news, my OH is getting a house in Bahrain which means that I'll be off to Bahrain in September and be living rent and car free!! Yays!!!!
Having a very frugal week, I'd call living off €50 not bad going! Getting paid tonight at midnight so that should help!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Aaaaaah fab!! Can I come too? I'll even sleep on the floor if he hasn't a guest room/bed sorted by Sept
:D
Great about O2. Hopefully you'll be able to soon put extra towards the internet bill.
Roll on midnight!!
I have to wait til Wednesday...

well guys here's how things look today :
€666 flights to see OH (has to be done!)
€500 Hotel deposit for wedding (also ditto before anyone else wants our wedding date)
[STRIKE]€108.43[/STRIKE] Internet bill
[STRIKE]€158.37[/STRIKE] o2 bill
[STRIKE]€280[/STRIKE] Electricity bill Now just €80 on last bill and a new one on its way!
€150 car insurance
€500 credit card
€288 Littlewood account
going to pay the minimum balance off the littlewoods and credit card bills on monday.
I also took €40 out for myself, spent €20 on phone credit for this month, need to put €10 petrol in the car so I have €10 left in my purse.. :rotfl:
Oh what a fabulous month its going to be!
I do feel like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders by taking control of this.. Planning on doing some overtime as well tomoro until 2pm so that should help funds.
I was going to take a planned day off on the 16th and 19th of august but what I might do is only take the 1th off (so I can have a little breather) and work the 16th and 17th (overtime) which means I will have my weekend as well!
So I *think* I have around €233 left in my bank account.. My OH is putting €1200 into the joint account next week so I will pay off the hotel for the wedding and flights.. Then I shall be left with car insurance, rest of the ESB bill, the credit card and littlewoods bill.. Not too shabby!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
