Hello! :) Sounds like you've got everything under control! Fab!

Loving your MSE bargains!! OH has bought really cheap blades to try to save himself money, rather than paying out for replacement blades. But his face/neck is paying for it now!! Serves him right!! :rotfl:

    I'm back!

I had a wonderful weekend away in birmingham!

This is a spendy week this week, mainly cos the money for my braces and rent comes out of my account this week!

Had a great time in birmingham.. Managed to spend €50 under my budget so I have €280 owing on my credit card, which I am delighted with.

The bills I need to get organised are:

Internet bill, ridiculously high at €118 as OH didn't pay it! Grrrrr!
OH phone bill at around €100.. Not as bad as it was much higher before as we were in arrears with it but I'm hoping to cancel the contract in 3 weeks when the year is up!

My cousin is getting married at the end of this week, so out of my extra 6 hours overtime, I'll give her a card with some cash and I'm not paying for anything at the wedding.. I'll come home early so I don't have to splash out on booze (very sensible )

So I'm down to work another 7 hours of overtime this week, I'm thinking that should be enough to help us keep on top of the bills..

Has a sneaky look at wedding rings in birmingham, boy it is so much cheaper than over here, me and the OH will defo be going to the jewellry quarter I think to get one made in our budget!

Aw glad you had a good weekend :D And you under-spent too! Bonus!! ;)

I need to sort something out for internet too - we hit our limit way too quick! I'm hoping to phone 3 and say I'm thinking of leaving and see what they offer ;):D

Have you picked your outfit for the wedding this weekend yet?

Can't wait to get rid of this phone bill, between things I've managed to pay it off to a balance of €40.. which hopefully I'll clear in the next month!

Outfit for family wedding all picked out and hung up, just hope its not the same colour as the bridesmaids, she's being very secretive!

So my OH just gimme his savings so we are now at €710 saved towards my engagement ring! I think we are hoping for arounf €1500 and I'm hoping to get his wedding ring out of it too..

Need to do quite a large food shop tomoro as well as other wee bits so tomoro is a definite spendy sorta day!

So much has happened in the last week!

My OH got offered a job in the middle east, saudi arabia.. Then we are planning on moving to the area that allows women greater freedoms, bahrain.. He will be leaving in a few weeks, he will be out there for 3 months before I ca move out to be with him.

Its gonna be very different with my OH so far away...

On the cash front, things have been very tight. I'm struggling a little to rein my spending in.. Any advice?

Wow! What an offer! Fantastic opportunity for him! But I can only imagine how that's left you feeling! Excited for him but gutted for yourself! I'm sure the 3 months will fly in! Besides, you've got us to keep you company ;):D

Have you been keeping a spending diary??

I've been awful on the spending front lately.. But from today I am writing everything down.. OH is going to saudi in around 12 days and I'm planning to cherish every moment with him..

Tomoro, I'm heading to belfast to the game of thrones tour, can't believe I got tickets, I'm so excited! The tickets were free and I have change for the car park so I'm hoping it should be enough!

In terms of other spends this week is going to be very hard.. 600 for rent and 200 for braces.. Christ I'm nervous about my bank balance at the end of the week.. Every penny is going to count..

I've shopping for food in the house and I've had to raid my sealed tin to get through this week..

I think chin up is the only way to get through these two weeks..

(and chin up ref OH too... *hug*)
