Hey Everyone!
So my OH has transferred money from his account to mine. Being a typically money spender, turns out he didn't have as much to give me as I would have liked meaning I have €400 to last me the rest of the month, including paying debts, going home and attending a wedding! I have lots of days out with friends in between so I have no notion how things are going to go!
We put aside money for the wedding we are attending and I already have my dress etc all got so I'm hoping to get through that day without managing to spend as little money as I can..
Well we have the €500 deposit for our wedding venue set aside anyway. I realise that trying to plan a wedding whilst paying off my debt may be a little unrealistic but I am hoping to get it done soon! :rotfl:
So for december and January we have two tricky months. We owe our €900 rent as OH work gave him an advance on his rent allowance when he started working... Realistically, mainly because its Christmas, I know there shall be little MSE done around this house! If I could get my debt to under €1000 by the end of the year, I'll be content with that..
I'm also planning on using any money we get from our parents and putting it into my cc. Doing this, I won't have to pay interest and seeing as we won't need the money for 21 months, I can save up and pay that money slowly back into the wedding fund pot.. Trying to do things as frugally as possible seems impossible sometimes!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

So I have been quite MSE since my last post, I haven't spent a penny :rotfl:
I'm going home today! yay! :T
Which means I have the task of trying to pay off some of my debts while still enjoying my time at home and the numerous lunches etc I'm going to!
But I shall be checking balances when I get home so it's all good and I will have a better handle on exactly to the penny what I owe at home.. That way I can give myself a xmas treat and be under €1000 after xmas!
So today involves, last minute packing, printing of boarding passes, tidying the house up  and having the fridge cleared out!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Safe home and happy lunching
:D Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
So apparently bill 1 never came so I can say I owe €639 between my cc and littlewood account.. Pretty happy with that!! XD
So just need to check the bill 2 and then redo my siggy.. As long as the amount is under €300, it will be under €1000 and that would make my month!! ;-)
So spends for today was €32.50 for bus ticket home and €2.50 on a wedding card and €2.50 on a cup of tea at the airport!!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

So update on my debts, after a whirlwind 2 weeks at home, I owe €705! Delighted I am!
It makes my xmas anyway!
I currently owe €165 littlewood, €290 on cc and €250 on bill 2 now. Delighted with my progress while at home!
I was bold though and went wedding dress shopping while at home. Fell in love with one dress however it is a staggering €1600!!! Hell to the no I am not paying that! Currently I'm looking online for a second hand one which is coming in at around €700 which is still a bit high but what can you do!
And to finish up there is also €25 quid left in my bank account. Food shopping has been done for the most of this week and I'm well enough on track!

Good morning all!
How are we today?
Well yesterday was a NSD and also payday!!
Today is christmas tree buying day! Very very excited about this altogether! Got my money for the month so I'm looking forward to stretching it! I've got to buy some xmas pressies for my OH as well. I've no notion what to get him, he claims to want a rolex or a ps4... Eh, in his dreams!
This year is very handy as we are planning on going out for xmas dinner. Also helped by the fact, I only need to buy for my OH this year! yays!
We also started the paleo diet there on Saturday and I have to say so far so good! We have no crap food in our cupboards which is probably helping and I'm slowly slowly beginning to get over my jet-lag!
Plan for today : hitting the gym later and buying an xmas tree!!

Hey lovelies!
Well today is a quiet day at home until this afternoon. Need to head to the gym, pop money into our accounts at home and going for dinner with the gang!
I feel so much better after coming home knowing that I have less than a grand to pay off. It might be just the minimum balances this month that will be paid off, mainly because of xmas but I am hoping to pay it off between January and February!
Also we've had news on the hotel front, they are giving us our package at €1.50 less than we were quoted as we have foregone the gym membership as it is of no use to me and my partner as we live abroad! So that brings it to €49.50 per head.. A little bit better than €51 per head!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

So todays MSE
Well I officially opened on online savings account, took 2 minutes and there is currently €2.50 in it atm! Plan on transferring any bits and bobs of money we have left from our current accounts into it!
I am crocheting again! Its something I love and it will help me big time to pass the time during the day! Currently making a nice little throw for our sitting room. We could have done without it but it will be a nice touch
Went out for dinner last night and the lovely OH paid for it! What a man!
On weightloss news, I am down 4 lbs since last week. Hoping to keep that momentum up, I'm not as hungry on the paleo diet! Just shows me how much I was overeating in the first place!
now, the un-MSE.. The OH wants a PS4 for Xmas...094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey everyone!
Just updating on the wedding spends etc! So we are up to €623.10 so far! This includes all favour boxes (going to buy sweets out of pound shop the week before), guestbook (mum kindly bought me a feather pen to go with it), Mr and Mrs sign and sprinkles for the cake table, 3 hair clips for bridesmaids, cufflinks for the guys and hotel deposit! I've also spent €87.30 (from the €623.10) on invite materials. Now, I have decided to resell on our RSVP cards as they won't go with our invites and some of the invite materials I bought first aren't going to suit so they are also going to be sold so hoping I can recoup these costs and then buy the diamantes and little wedding sign I want to finish my invites!
So not too bad yet??
So my online savings are up to €6.64 which I'm trying to figure out.. I'm buying stuff for the wedding as we go along so I am wondering if I could use this small online account to start very very premature savings towards a house? Tis my dream!
Planning on getting rid of one of the bills/littlewoods on the first week of January and possibly concentrating on the cc and whatever is leftover then! It would be lovely to be debt free again by March 2013 but I *think* I'm always going to use my cc so as long as I get the bills off my back I'll be happy!
Anyhoo, other than that, I went and bought 'the entertainer' where I live. I know that you can get them in london but it'll be so handy when we are out and about for lunches or dinners mainly!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey everyone!
Sealed pot set up for this year and an added 'envelope' system as well. As my dress is coming in at €1000, I plan to put down the deposit next month (yay!) and then save up the other €500 between now and March (when its due to come in ) with an envelope of any small notes that I can't put in my sealed jar!
Is it wrong that I'm kind of excited about that
Anyway, on the work news, first bit of tutoring work tonight
I'm looking forward to using the old brain cells again! Got a call from a mum who would like me to help her 6 year old with English.. No problem!
One hour a week should be manageable!
Other than that, I have laid low on the debt busting! I *may* pay off my littlewoods bill with whatever money I have on my cc to get rid of it! That way I can concentrate on my cc bill every month!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
