I have emailed both
olaf.swantee@ee.co.uk and the executive office - both "READ" - but neither appear capable of replying !!
You could try adding Jackie.O'Leary@ee.co.uk and Pippa.Dunn@ee.co.uk
Don't expect too much though, they are just denying the increase breaches the contract, but won't explain why.
Basically they are sitting in the corner with their fingers in their ears, hoping it will all go away.====0 -

Thanks - I have just forwarded my "ignored" email to both - requesting an explanation as to why they are breaking the terms of my contract....0 -
Thanks to everyone on this thread I have been watching this very closely as I really believe they are breaking their own T&Cs, I have sent an email to tmobile to the 3 mentioned, also flagged with ofcom and ciias, lets see what it brings.... Thanks once again0

There is an OFCOM reporting form, it can't hurt for everyone to comment to OFCOM directly to make them aware of the problem.RandomCurve wrote: »I'll also be asking my MP to put in a Parliamentary Question to OFCOM on this.I have sent an email to tmobile to the 3 mentioned, also flagged with ofcom and ciias, lets see what it brings.... Ofcom will reject your complaint they don't deal with individual complaints that's CIFAS's job.

By all means send it the relevant people but sending it blunderbuss fashion is not the answer.0 -

It is still within their remit to be notified of a network that is not only making a larger than RPI cost increase mid term, but is also failing to comply with the contract terms, especially as they (OFCOM) are currently investigating the issue of mid term increases against all the networks.====0 -
talk mobile are also increasing their prices by an 'small inflationary amount' which is just under 3%. The small print is too small to see, I am really unhappy as I have had rubbish service for a year, apparently the talkmobile network has had compatibility issues with the samsung phones!!!!! It seems all phone companies are doing this.0

Yes if the rise is greater than RPI but they will not deal with individuals. They may investigate the mid term rises and even issue guidelines or maybe legislation, but they will not deal with each complaint as some folk seem to think they will.0 -
This thread just shows how many people dont read the T&Cs to the contacts they sign.
Guess the lure of a shiny phone is too strong!!0 -

I received a letter 3 days ago from T-Mobile dated April 2003 stating from the 9th May 2013 my price plan will increase by RPI percentage which it states is currently at 3.3%.
If the RPI is currently at 3.2% and has been since the 19th March -then wouldnt the T&C come into play.
Sorry if someone has spotted this, but is this not the House Price Index, not the Retail Price Index?
I think the RPI is 2.8% in Feb, cant find March?
Cheers.

And some people don't read the thread before replying.
It's exactly because we did read the T&Cs that this thread exists.
Simply put, (to save you having to go back and read), T-Mobile have increased by more than RPI, bring the cancellation clause in the T&Cs into play.
Nothing about phones, shiny or otherwise.====0
