Sent an email to Graham Howells in Ofcom and this was the response....

I am now on sabbatical until the end of September. I will be reading emails from time to time and, in emergency, can be contacted via Neemat Moosa on 020-7981-3602 or Neemat.Moosa@ofcom.org.uk or through the Secretariat team.
Graham.

You would have thought that as a member of the public has felt so strongly about a telecomms issue that they have written to OFCOM a proper reply would be reasonable, not tell them they get more time off than father christmas, I hope 'we' are not paying for the 'sabbatical'...

Try: Lynn.Parker@ofcom.org.uk - Director, Consumer Protection. I think she reports direct to Graham.

I have the same adjudicator for my POST Oct 2012 contract

Hopefully she reads through mine before making her decision on yours.

Not that there can really be any doubt, but as T-Mobile have tried "smoke and mirrors" with the defence of each of our claims it helps build the picture that T-Mobile are systemically [STRIKE]corrupt[/STRIKE] crap.

Mine was appointed 8 days ago, in another 8 days I will be able to give notice on my T-Mobile contract as its 30 days before the 2 years are up, not sure how this could effect my CISAS decision.

I can't see it making any difference to the CISAS decision, any cancellation should still be back-dated if that is what you requested. You should therefore still receive any compensation awarded and monies paid since the back-dated cancellation (if your claim is found in your favor)

If you have another 8 days before you can give notice anyway, then you'd only have to wait another 5 days before the decision should have been made.

To avoid T-Mobile (wrongly) using your cancellation as a reason for late payment of the compensation, it might be worth siting tight the extra 5 days.

and when the HEAD of Ofcom can take 2+ months off as it is funded by the government complaints against such HEAD and organisation should be addressed to https://www.gov.uk/government/people/maria-miller - that's your taxes paying for the inept Howells, and HOWL you ALL should...and that is why telcos have got away with a decade of shambles like this T-Mobile action.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
• Someone a while back posted an e-mail address for EE legal team or similar. Can they remind me what it was please?

I want to chase up my PAC and refund.

Thanks

So I received by result from CISAS on Wednesday and responded immediately accepting, but what happens next?

Will CISAS write to me again confirming the decision and set out time scales?

Should I ring T-Mobile for my PAC now or wait for it to come? My August billing date has gone so any ETF won't apply until around 23rd August to be paid in September. Would everything be expected to be finalised by then?

I think I am heading down a SIM-Only route so not needing my PAC immediately but want to get this process over and done with as quick as possible.

Once you get the information from CISAS that they accept your confirmation I would suggest to write to the executive office - don't remember the e-mail now as in work - and tell them that you would like to know how your refund will be processed and ask for PAC code.

I did it and got a response the next day with a PAC, information that if I will not use my PAC my services will continue and confirmation of refund.
Not more than a week later got the refund in my bank account and as next payment was going up I was a bit worried that they will charge me and I will have to ask for another refund but checked it today and they cancelled the direct debit, not charged me anything and my transfer should be processed by tomorrow so I should be with another network by the end of the day.

Ah ok, I will do that then. I was not sure if CISAS will contact me with a confirmation, still need to wait for that to come through then.

Thanks.
