welcome back
did your OH leave his job in the end? Ex boss sitting outside your house sounds strange  and slightly terrifying?! Hope all is ok on that front now

Wow DFW321 congrats on becoming debt free! You've done an amazing job! :j
Yes DH left his job due to the trauma & life has settled down a bit now. He has been doing some gardening work for friends & is an awful lot happier. Bizarrely, there is a possibility that he might get his job back again as all but one of the employees involved have either left or been sacked. He's quite positive about it as he really enjoyed the job itself & was really quite good at it - he's got it in his head that if he went back, it would be a completely fresh start with a new store manager in place
Today I should have a SFD - I have brought lunch & a drink so really shouldn't need to buy anything - let's see if I can manage one whole day without letting go of any cash!

Just spent £35.95 on horse feed (as I have run out completely) BUT with 10% off and free delivery - necessary spend but should last about 6 weeks...
Realised that I have made far too much pasta for lunch... feeling totally stodged...

Glad I'm not the only one who does this... A handful never looks enough until its cooked!

OK, Sunday recap of last week
The good financial points were a real reduction in random spending & I managed to take lunch to work for 3 days out of 5
The slightly more rubbish financial points were 2 shops at local store for additional food & ending up buying lunch 2 days this week
However, I have made a renewed effort with my spending diary which I will update again today.
Scared by the current level of sneezing this mornign - think the pesky new students have already infected me with their germs
Todays list of things to do...- Research simple slow cooker recipes for DH to make for tea this week (I don't get home until about 8pm most nights so this system works well)
- Plan lessons for this coming week
- Ride the gorgeous pony
- create a budget for necessary spending this week
- Do some housework (DH gets very peeved as I really don't do enough)
Ooh other good news this week is that my insurance company has agreed to pay out on my gorgeous pony's most recent veterinary issue - first bill alone is £710 in the first month  and it's likely to be ongoing for a while, so thank God for that!
While I'm here, I might as well do my planned spends for this week eh?!
Sun - £0
Mon - £80 school hire (for horse, not pesky students!) cash already put aside for this, £31.30 show ticket (which I'll claim back from work as for a student trip)
Tues - £0 - possible spend on a condenser dryer from local Ebay person in our village, will limit myself to £60 (brand new it is £180) we desperately need one in winter as we have to have our back door wide open when using our current vented dryer
Wed - £0
Thurs - £0
Fri - £70 farrier, £70 equine physio (cash already put aside for these)
Sat - £10 eyebrow wax, £30 hair cut
I'll allow myself £5 for cash this week. I just cannot break the habit of chocolate and in the first week of timetable at work, I really can't see me making it through the week without any!
I'm doing my best to make myself feel more lke a girl and not let myself fall into the trap of not caring at all what I look like. This is a bad habit that I have allowed myself to fall into & it just brings me down. It's expensive though! (I haven't had my hair cut for about 8 months)
DH is going food shopping today as he spends far less than I do
I have promised to give him some ideas for teas though, otherwise we have the same things - bless him, he is a superstar :smileyhea
We're going to a christening next Sunday and I really do not have anything suitable to wear
hmm, may have to invest in something but I have no idea what as yet... this will cclearly be another spend for this week - not sure how much I should allow myself
ANyway, having looked at the above, I now think that this week is really EXPENSIVE!! Aargh!
Right then, Onwards
