Obsessed is good if it's getting rid of debt
I used to have 13 savings accounts open for all sorts of virtual 'pots' and used to check my bank account 2 or 3 times a day lol ....i've calmed down a bit 3 years on

Come on Cheques! I need you to clear so that I can use you for moneysaving!
Another positive morning
Today I will...- Add ONE more item to Ebay selling
- Readjust my May spreadsheet to account for current spends - i think things might be a little tight from here on in.... and it's not the 1st yet...

- I will complete ONE survey tonight (unsurprisingly i can't acces the site at work
) - I managed to spend over £3 yesterday on chocolate - this is not a good thing - I did pay for it with change in my car, but that is clearly not the point - will not do this today

Busy day at work yesterday, so not much progress AND i spent £1.09 on chocolate on the way home  clearly this is unacceptable...
I've just updated my spending diary with the DD's that have come out of my account for 1st May. I try to have everything paid at the beginning of the month so that I know where I am. The only one that isn't paid straight away at the mo is a new student loan payment which comes out on 15th, but I have asked for this to changed, so the next payment following this one will be 28th May (I get paid on 25th May)
So, report on yesterday as follows:
Add ONE more item to Ebay selling - Failed
[STRIKE]Readjust my May spreadsheet to account for current spends - i think things might

Hmm will try harder today - will try drinking more to stop the munchies

OK good news & bad news!
The bad news is that I spent £14.44 in SM yesterday on cr*p which included £10 cashback
The good news is that I received all call yesterday re some boots which I returned to a shop, which had split within 6 months. The shop are talking to the manufacturer so fingers crossed there for either replacements or refund
The other good news is that my chqs have cleared & I have paid £50 to CC1 :j
I'm facing a real challenge today though, as I'm taking students to a large equestrian retailer to do some research, but one of my worst habits is going on trips & shopping for myself when I'm out and about  I'll do my very best this morning NOT TO BUY ANYTHING!!
Will report in later

Could I suggest that you include a pack of treat size chocolate bars in your shopping budget? Lidl and Aldi do packs of 16 or 20 for not very much money.
Take a couple of the small bars with you, leave a couple in the car. Then, when you need chocolate, you can have it, but in a much more controlled and cost-friendly manner.
Good luckSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

well done on not spending too much, but I agree with bargainbetty, I would buy a multi pack in the supermarket or £land and put one in my bag (perhaps not chocolate once it gets too warm though lol) xx0

Thanks for the inspiration BargainBetty & DFW321 - I've just returned from a sneaky trip to the local Lidl & paid £5.68 on snacks to last me until next Friday at work
will do my best to ration myself & not purchase anything else snack-related....
My small spends over the last couple of days have really made me realise how my money dribbles away on snacks - now I've discovered Lidl, I want to not spend anything on snacks between now and next Friday - I'll bring sandwiches to work next week

Hmm difficult times... had a blazing row with DH on Saturday
resulting in me driving off & buying a toolbox for £19.99 from B&Q (don't ask, I have very odd shopping urges
). Went home & talked about issues (not money related thankfully) and was otherwise a spend free day!!
On the upside, I earnt £95 from teaching yesterday, which I will pay into the bank tomorrow, then straight onto Virgin CC, thereby meeting target overpayments for May - I'll update as soon as Ive done it
Four more lessons booked in for this week, so fingers are crossed for more cash to pay to CC
I desperately want a horsebox. DH knows this and offered to buy the one I have been looking at using his CC. I've been very grown up about it all & said that s**'s law that if we do this, one of the cars will die, or the roof will fall off, or something will go drastically wrong & we won't be able to pay for it. I know I MUST be sensible & stay focussed on paying off debt, and I know it's a luxury item - I'm lucky in that I have some good friends that I can catch lifts to shows etc for a diesel contribution - but the horsebox is a long-term goal - I would dearly love the independance of owning my own. Oh well, I guess I should use this as inspiration to get rid of those debts
Today is a planned spend day...- SJ clinic (£35 + £20 diesel)
- Petrol fill up for my car (approx £45)
- Pay for bedding, wormer & grass seed (£74)

Better start to the week, even if it is Tuesday...
Just banked the cash I made over the weekend, and transfered £38 from PayPal made from Ebay sales (the remainder following fees)
Soooo... £133 paid straight to Virgin CC :jXmas 2016 #67 £0/£365
