damn, I just purchased something from maximtvs.com.
is there a way I can cancel the order now as I am worried about them?0 -
The Techwood from ebuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/124743/rb/27847822768 also comes with a wall hanging bracket, making it the best value via google checkout. Been tempted, but I'll rather have a larger tv.Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?0

please someone help.
I purchased a tv this morning using paypal. there is an email contact for them and when I emailed for their phone contact they refuse to give it to me. I emailed then to cancel the order and there is no response.
I noticed on my paypal that £150 has been taken away from my account and it says that the transaction is completed.
Is there a way for me to claim the money back?
Has anyone else had any similar experiences.
PS this has now been resolved, so I take any negative comments about them back.0 -

Yes. The Distance Selling Regs allow you a 10 day grace period in which you can cancel or return you product for pretty much any reason - ie it doesn't match the curtains, etc.0 -

Yes, it's a time limited offer while they clear out the stock, but that's why this board is Grabbit While You Can!
I bought the 27" version of this as a 2nd TV. Simple to setup, works fine with Virgin cable TV and a PS2 (Best connected through S-Video). Good firm to deal with, phoned them lunchtime and picked it up on my way home from work. Even has sleep timer to avoid you wasting electricity when you fall asleep watching it.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

WARNING: Are you aware that Pixmania is based in France ?
Most if there items are Euro and not UK models and come with a European 2 pin plug connection and the manuals are in French.
You might want to check out the reviews before you buy anything, they dont exactly get glowing reports !

I really doubt you need to panic, Pixmania is a recent addition to DSGi (otherwise known as Dixons, Currys, etc) and have had a webiste retailing to the uk for a while.
However, if you want a good tv, I got the slightly better spec'd Mirai DTL-632V200 from http://www.techfever.co.uk/products.asp?partno=6438&source=tempriser from recommendations on AVforums which I have had for about 6 weeks and I am very happy with it. Ordered it on a thrursday and got it on the saturday :T
At £364.46 plus free delivery its a steal.0 -

Yeah, my parents bought the 32" and it was delivered next day. Gotta say I was impressed with it! It looks good, the video settings are ok as default and after a little tweaking I got it exactly as they wanted it. (I swear they only want me to visit so I can sort out their technology for them!)
It's making me check my cards for £340 I don't have...Librarian: "Ook ook ookity OOK OOK!"

Suggestion: So far all these TVs have analogue tuners, and hence redundant within 5 years without a Set Top Box.
So none of these so far can receive any Digital Television without external source. Is there a way we can filter this thread / start a new thread with Freeview enabled 32" cheapy TVs?0
