Kit Kat recall

Well obviously by quoting £10 as a fair sum I was being way too ambitious but it was worth getting other peoples opinions on the subject. It did surprise me somewhat to find so many people who would have been glad to get anything for their trouble and who are so concerned to stand up for big business, or maybe I just hit unlucky and found a load of people who work as call handlers in complaints departments.
No,you just found people who don't have petty desiresIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Just received a £2 voucher from the guys at Kit Kat due to my response to the recent recall of some varieties of chunky Kit Kat bars, I returned two such bars and although it was free post I still had to supply the envelope and take the time to post the bars back to Kit Kat. I was expecting a bit more than a £2 voucher for my inconvenience, what do you think?
I bought a 3 bar hazelnut chunky Kit Kat multipack for 99p and returned 2 bars when I saw details of the recall. The bar I'd eaten didn't have any plastic in it.
If I get £2 I'll be pleased with that. Maybe I'd expect a bit more if I'd actually found some plastic in my chocolate, but as it was a case of responding to a recall then I think it's reasonable to just have basic costs covered. This is just my opinion - and no I don't work for Nestle or in a claims handling dept.0 -

2 weeks ago bought in (I think) a SPAR on the Strand in London
I thought one of my fillings had popped!!!0 -

I think it is quite fair say 60p each for the kit kats thats £1.20 then 80p for a envelope. As for taking time to post it im sure you go past a post box or post office everyday so not really any trouble is it!!
Why do some people always want more. If you had plastic in one of your bars i could understand wanting more but as for time i think thats just ridiculousCashBack earned to date - £1244-580 -
I think you could have returned it to the seller you bought it from. They would have probably given a refund to the value of the product or credit note.0

Or you found a load of people who have more of a life than chasing companies for compensation for loss of time.
Not like it was that urgent you had to leave off work straight away and drive to their head office and hand them the bars straight away is it get a grip!!!!!!CashBack earned to date - £1244-580
