Evening to all
Just wondering if anyone had stitched any of the Polstitches designs. Just come across the Heart Stitchery design in an old mag and wondered if anyone had stitched this or anything similar. Is it worth buying the kit as I assume you get some Polstitches fabric included.
Regards
Emma
Never seen those before, but the fabric is gorgeous.
My stitching bug still missing, but I did buy a kit at the weekend which arrived today (I had a £5 online voucher emailed, and I have little willpower at the best of times :rotfl:)

winnepooh c an't wait to go abroad - 2017 we're aiming for. It's not just the cost of travel/accomodation but for us it'll be the cost of 4 new passports as well!!!!
I'm hoping to book scarborough for the 1st week of July (with free Park Resorts mini break) and off to my mum/ dads for a week in August.
I'd order the card blanks online if you don't need them until Christmas. Tho saying that YEARS ago I got 2 packs of multicoloured blanks + envelopes (I think 50 per pack) on something silly like 2 for £5 in the works, they will keep me going for ever.
ohhhh they still do them............ http://www.theworks.co.uk/p/cards/50-create-your-own-multi-coloured-greeting-cards/5052089120839
hope the op goes well tricksie that's a long time to be in............ but YAYYAYAY for the stitchy time. The world map is FAB.
I had never heard of 'frogs' in the stitchy term...... knew about the flylady ones.
nmm I'm guessing my 5 for £5 crazy subscription has run out as £11 was taken out my account this week.
Think I might cancel it and look out for another offer. although I don't NEED any I am loving having a mag thro the post again.
Blue tit is cute.
I found a superman logo that looks a quick stitch so doing that for hubby's card. better get on with it while he's in the pub.
credit card has taken some massive hammering today. My new life lesson is "Kids are only young once, I'll pay it off when they leave home".
- £200 on fence posts and spikes for the garden
- £60 on new bedside units
- £50 on a plastic playhouse for them for the garden.
Saturday it was £70 on new lego.
at the moment I am resisting the urge to take them to see Dora the Explorer live (£15 a ticket) which is in Sheffield this week.
Agree that they're only young once but in my experience the bank of Mum and Dad is called upon long after they leave home0 -
Evening everyone - some lovely stitching going on. I do like the little blue tits, I might stitch mine soon.
nmm BD is looking very fluffy
The hearts are lovely sweetcarer, after the red one how many will you have done in total?
The decorating is finally finished but just when I thought I could get loads of stitchy time, my sister asked me to help make 3 Harry Potter cloaks for a gala day display. I'm just finishing the second one and I can see them far enough. Why is it that cross stitching = fun but normal stitching = yawn? :rotfl:
That said I finally have a decent sized finished project!! I've only completed card designs since January :T It's for a cousins wedding, it's off to the framers on Friday.
I really like this design, and it's only the second larger piece I have ever stitched twice (the first being a map of Scotland).
(The last couple I stitched it for split up a year after the wedding, so this couple have to last or I'm going to think the design is jinxed.0 -

Atm I am falling in and out of love with Let's Do Wine and will probably be very pleased when it is finished. Not thinking of the making it into a cushion yet - will cross that bridge later.
Good luck with giving up smoking winnie. Just think of all that extra stash you will be able to buy instead:)
Pleased to hear that the baby has finally arrived nmm and looking forward to seeing pic of framed finish.
Just ordered a £10 M&S voucher for £5 (via Groupon) - so I think a little treat will be coming my way.
It's bloomin freezing here again today (11 degs). When are we going to get some sunshine???
Take care everyone

I'm another fan of gold plated needles Much smoother passage through the fabric I find
I've also got the M and S voucher It will help with some little extras for the anniversary party I'm hosting on Sunday0 -

I have that kit! I started it but the thread was possibly the worst I have ever used so I gave up and put it away.0 -
I thought I'd seen it before louise - it is lovely tho and yes lets hope this couple stay together a bit longer.
mrs_t_m - how can you posssssibbbllyyy only have 1 needle?? I think i have a zillion floating around.
Normally I only use the cheap ones but they are very flimsy and after reading this thread I treated myself to some gold plated ones and they are lovely.
YAY for baby eventually turning up nmm stubbern little thing (and they say boys are worse) - how many hours of labour was that in total I bet mummy is exhausted.
that roses design is pretty jcs1
I was tempted by the £5=£10 groupon voucher for M&S but resisted as I don't normally shop in there anyway. I think it was online spends only as well (but then i was dozy when i read it so could be wrong) and none of my local shops do delivery to store for free - well didn't last time I looked (and they are the 2 largest in Sheffield).
noooooo fos once i kick em out they can fend for themselves lol.
Not a lot of stitchy progress here.
Wednesday DS1 wanted to go camping and we wanted a tent anyway to take them away in the future. So bought a tent etc and pitched it in the garden.
BBQ in the rain (under a gazebo) then camping...................in the rain.
Then come Thursday.......................I'm sick- We thought it was food poising but it took 12 hours to take hold which seems a long time so now just think it's a bug that's going around.
Spent all day yesterday in bed being sick and lived on one toastie and a large bottle of lucozade. today my stomach feels as if someone is stood on it - sooo sore.
But yet mumy's have to muddle thro, apparently looking after the kids was far too difficult for hubby yesterday so after I'd been in bed an hour DS1 joined me with his DS (computer) and showed me how to play Lego Indiana Jones all afternoon.
DS2 got put back in bed for being mardy and was allowed nearly 4 hours sleep.
He did manage to make them a sandwich for tea before telling me to look after them so he could play outside with the fence he's spent all week putting up (in the rain) again.
Then I gave them a bath - they kicked off big style at bedtime and I had no energy to deal with it so i told them to lay in my bed while I had a bath - at which point they both took their PJ's back off and came in with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been and taken kids to the childminders today, got a bit of shopping to keep up going until tesco delivery around lunchtime and Hubby is now walking around like a wet weekend because he is obviously FARRR more ill then I can ever imagine.
Think I might curl up on the sofa and get my stitching out.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
