That's exactly how I feel about stitching for other people even if it is something as simple as a card. I have to like them AND know they will appreciate my efforts including how long things take to make. I've never stitched for money but have made things on request including my eldest stepdaughter's wedding outfit and my youngest stepdaughter's bridesmaid dress for her mother's 2nd wedding Loved the results. Hated the pressure
I take it as a compliment when I am asked about making things but have learned how to say no nicely

I know how popular the words designs by Ursula Michaels are - Maria and I have stitched Let's Sew (the sewing machine) and others have it on their to do list, Chicky stitched a card (home I think) and of course there is BEG's Wine one where the evenweave is causing a problem. I think Louise also stitched some of the card designs

Well I have just discovered 2 more designs of hers I love - this one is a butterfly shape with words about cross stitch and this one is wedding bells for a wedding sampler. I love the way the cross stitch one includes the DMC colour in each section and I am so tempted by the wedding one for the August wedding...............

oh FOS I LOVE the butterfly words don't think I saw that last time i looked.

Don't know whether it was a new Horder next door mrs m_p but i saw one the other day with a little old lady in and my heart just bled for her. Not so much for the aragant cow in the same episode who told her kids she didn't love them.

Have finished all the body of my bug now just the leaves to go tonight.

I stitched 3 of the cards that were in the magazine and they were so quick to make, and look really good. I LOVE the butterfly picture that you have linked to, it's now one of my favourites

might have been the same one chicky, i couldnt have any sympathy at all for the other woman on the show so i wasnt paying attention to her story but i know she had chilrden.

that butterfly looks lovely, and thee are some free patterns on that link (but not any word ones)

Sorry can't help. It looks like quite an old kit so the company may have gone out of business. Perhaps you could email the seller and ask for a close up shot of the design ?

absolutely no stitching done today. Felt lousy all day full of cold and a water infection. Ive been in a dreadful mood. Then hubby's been on the phone and found out his grandads got terminal cancer and has only weeks to live. Hes over 100 miles away from us. So were taking the trek down a week tomorrow
