Soulie in case you pop in this morning, I'm thinking of you xxx

Didn't have time to pop in this am, the scan took agessssss, so much for the guy telling me it would take 'about 35 minutes', it ended up being an hour, but at least I wasn't in the other machine as that one broke down while someone was in it!'

Now I just have to sit tight and wait for my results, which I am obviously very nervous about, which is why I think I had a bit of a bad day yesterday, was very weepy, and I am not a cryer usually, but was also thinking about my brother and uncle so maybe it all caught up with me :(

    Hi ladies.

Charlie. Wow! The Tiger is beautiful! He's much more life-like than the one I have previously done. I have at least 3 more Tiger kits in my stash to do, I love Tigers!
    Look forward to more updates.

PAP. Look forward to seeing the 'half stitched' heart. Can you post the original pic too so I/we can see what it would look like in whole stitches too, just as a reminder. Thanks :)

Mrs mp. Tink is lovely! I like the Poppy tapestry too, look forward to more updates on it.

Chicky. Nice HSH finish. Those 'word' designs are simple but very effective.

Soulie. Glad the scan went ok. Fingers crossed that the results come back quickly and show that the chemo is working.
Having been through the same type of cancer I feel for you, though I had surgery without chemo so I can't pretend to understand that part of it.
Sending hugs, positive thoughts and best wishes x

As for me. Snowman and Santa is coming along nicely. I'm still really enjoying it so in no hurry to get finished.
I'll try to remember to do an update pic tomorrow but we have a new kitchen being delivered so I might forget in all the excitement :rotfl:
Took advantage of B&Q having 20% off a couple of weeks ago and saved a small fortune!

Has anyone ordered the Dictionary/fun with technology kit - I still can't make up my mind. I see there are other new Bothy Thread kits and I can't make up my mind about them either !

    Hugs soulie xxxx

Haven't been here much as hubby treated me to a new kit. After much himming and hahhing I finally allowed him to buy me the Coke Lorry kit. For anyone interested in this I would pay the extra and get the kit as there is loads of threads. Only fault is they only allow a 1" border all around and I had a lot of fraying, hence the tape round the outside.
