    HEEELP!!!!

I'm confused - too many different types of evenweave. What would anyone recommend for use on cushion? Would a linen be a bit firmer to use? Haven't really used evenweave/linen and I'm a bit clueless :o. Any help would be really appreciated.

Wet and miserable here this morning. Trying to motivate myself to get to the gym for an hour so that when tonight comes - STITCHY TIME :j

    morning all

beg, how about stitching a panel of evenweave onto the cushion to make it more durable, or backing it with a plain sheeting or cotton fabric.

winniepooh, hope you are well and things are settling down. (mainly hoping that a certain person has seen the error of their ways and come round to the fact we all need 'me time' )

  • Morning all hope you are all well. Nothing really to report, I'm onto the back stitch on the 3rd Bella and boo, need to order more even weave for the 4th, and I'm still undecided on whether to order the sewing machine or not. Had a really really stressful week last week and begining of this week so I'm relaxing for the rest of the week. Going to try my hand at making a dress for dd today wish me luck

Yes this is it Soulie. (thank you TMIF) There are some nice designs in the book and some look quite simple and very inviting to stitch. Feel I might be starting one at the weekend if I have the threads.

Thank you, it appears I already had it on my wish list at amazon :o

ill try and post again about it on friday if thats ok that last couple of weeks theyve done a booklet followed by related cards that nee picking up from Ts or WHS on a daily basis along with token collect offers in the paper. i liked the knitting book they did but CBA to walk to Ts every day for the cards and the token collect items were way expensive.

    Hi ladies.

Soulie. Thanks for the link to the HAED sale. Even though I'm trying not to add to my stash I had a peek.
I just love the Storm Chaser! I admit I was very tempted to buy until I read it needs 87 colours
I love the Lion you have bought too.

    MrsTM. Nice finishes.

TMIF. Thanks for the link to the MP book. After saying above that I'm not adding to my stash I bought a copy! I don't see it as adding to my stash though, more of a stash user-upper :D
While there I searched for 'cross stitch books' and blimey, lots are quite cheap, could have bought loads more but limited myself to just the MP one.

    beg. Welcome back.

Thank you Mrs m I have an awful memory x

You're not alone there. My husband laughs at the amount of scraps of paper I have floating about with all my little reminders on :o
I hope you can relax the rest of the week as planned and good luck with the dress-making.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
