Yes this is it Soulie. (thank you TMIF) There are some nice designs in the book and some look quite simple and very inviting to stitch. Feel I might be starting one at the weekend if I have the threads.

not that I NEED any more card sized ones but his designs might make nice 'thank you' note ones.

    Mine too :T

Some of the designs look perfect for cards - I like the cupcake and "The Queen of Hearts" and can see me doing both those at some stage.

Best of all, mine was bought with an Amazon voucher from last Christmas so it was free :D

:hello: everyone - I'm back and trying to have a bit of a catch up with you all.

Got back from York at the weekend and there was WOCS waiting for me :j. MP book arrived today too and first impressions are very good. Didn't add to stitchy stash whilst I was away but I did invest in a few bits and bobs to give needle felting a go 'sometime'. Oh I nearly forgot - ordered (and received) chart for the 'Lets Do Wine' I'm going to do for friends birthday - thinking of making it into a cushion as DH thinks it isn't good to give people pictures which they will feel obliged to hang (he says its easier to hide a cushion :undecided). I am more than sure she will love either. Trouble is I haven't a clue on how to incorporate the evenweave into the cushion so any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry these comments are for posts nearly a week ago.

    mos - love cupcake :T

JCS1 - all those beads and things. :D

Bobbis Mummy - I would cancel WOCS now if I were you. When you cancel they will tell you that you still have so many remaining on the current sub - that's what happened for me anyway.

PaP - love the bothy tech design even though I will probably never get around to doing it. I can understand it being useful for cards though. Blue coming along nicely.

sweetcarer - good luck for tomorrow??? Is it tomorrow, I'm a bit out of sync with everything atm. Good luck anyway for whenever it is. ;)

tricksie - many congratulations to you and your family on the new arrival - what a whopper :T

    chicky - love Batgirl :T

winnie - so sorry to hear you have a tough time atm. Take care of yourself and just remember we are here should you need to have a bit of sound off x. PS Please dont get rid of your stitchy stuff - you will probably regret it later.

TMIF - great colours on stained glass :T

nmm - great progress with AOY :)

Mags - still love the Escher :D

Soulie - thanks for the HAED link - but I am NOT going to even take a peek :p

Mrs T_M_ - love the piccies.

    DAH DAH

Think that's about caught up for now - sorry if I've missed anyone's updates but it has been a bit of a marathon catch up.

Had hoped to stitch a bit of Sleeping Beauty tonight but I am too knackered now to get it out. Think I will ponder fleabay for some evenweave for Lets Do Wine.
