Afternoon all
Sorry I can't help you with that one Soulie, I stopped getting Crosstitcher ages ago now.
I'm stuck at 162 but I refuse to spend any money playing it. The chocolate isn't too bad at first but on the higher levels where you can't get rid of it completely its annoying.
I watched BGT but I don't think it was a fix at all, I think the people who won were always going to be the winners. I loved attraction and hope they go on tour soon. I think it's a shame that it has been so upstaged by one very stupid woman who has only managed to ruin her own career..
Back to stitching....I HAVE discovered my bug again :jIt was after I decided to start Joan Elliots Fairy Godmother, I am loving it. The only downside is that I just don't have much free time at all at the moment
Great news about the stitching bug making a welcome return.
I haven't lost my bug just don't have any spare time at the moment. One of the 3 family occasions (the big wedding anniversary) has been completed successfully, am now involved in the planning and organising of the double big birthday celebrations next month with a wedding to follow in August. Plus am working on decluttering the spare room - the up side being that I am finding lots of stitchy items I had forgotten about, the downside being that with no spare time my to do list is just getting ridiculously long0 -
Was just browsing Pinterest for a couple of minutes and spotted this which could be our motto for the next version of this thread :rotfl:

In case the link doesn't work it says:
I'm working on my PhD in Sewing (Projects Half Done)
Apologies to those to whom this does not apply because they always finish one project before starting another (but I think that's the minority)

Lovely updates everyone, about the magic aida and being one stitch out, I hope they can both be salvaged.
The pink bear arrived safely and the recipients loved it :j As for BGT I really wanted Jack Carroll to win, personally I thought he deserved it more. Not sure if some of you watch America's Got Talent but there was a shadow dance act on there a couple of years ago called The Silhouettes, check them out on youtube.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Those are really cute Chicky, I agree the Beatrix potter ones are gorgeous! Thanks for looking for me xxflowerofscotland wrote: »Oh no! Are you absolutely sure ou can't compensate if it is only 1 square out? I looked at your update photo and the pattern and couldn't see where you had gone wrong. But if you couldn't live with the mistake then perhaps starting agin is the best solution
I think I will have to start again, flowerofscotland: I've had a look, but can't see where I could adapt it. I like the ten tiny toes kit too, thanks for looking too xx0 -

But it is definitely not gender specific
Which reminds me of something I saw on Pinterest recently which said it was ideal for a "gender reveal shower". Never heard of this before. Am I just of of touch?
Gender Reveal Shower - an American thing (no surprise there!) coming over here. Have a scan to find out if boy or girl, the result gets handed in secret to a baker who then makes a cake with either pink or blue food colouring in the sponge.
So big party, parents-to-be cut into the cake and found out what they are having.0 -
