    Hello:)

I am declaring at £148.24 for June :j:j

I know this is only just under but it includes a last minute AF order as they sent me a voucher and when I looked they have loads of great bulk buys at the moment so I have got months worth of bread mix, granary bread flour, beef stock, veg stock, yorkshire pudding mix, muffin mix and custard plus some holiday treats to hide away for when the kids break up. Also got a free case of 18 Heinz mushroom squeeze and stir soups because I spent £25:money:

Feel well set up for July so I have no excuse:)

    PP xx

Wow - I actually got a money off voucher I can use for once! We got some Morris0ns vouchers through the door, with one offering £3.50 off a £20 spend. I don't live too far from one, so I'll use that next weekend to get a few things.

Note to self; last post was 643.

Since then, I've bought tin foil, flatbread, doughnuts, eggs, chocolate, sausages, marshmallows, winegums, and toothpaste, for £8.42 bringing my total up to £39.18 out of £40.

Then I got bored of cooking yesterday, and went to the chippy. So my actual total is £40.97/£40.

On the bright side, I don't need to buy anything else this week, so I should be okay at just under a £1 over budget.

Made cheesy pasta with grilled red peppers and peas for dinner, internet playing up so can't upload a pic but it was very tasty.

  • Morning all. Had a nice NSD yesterday. I won't be spending today either so should be another. I have no idea how July's budget will go as were moving house so hopefully it will all go to plan. OH wants me to make a cake for the ladies he works with as he said they've been working hard this month and he is their manager so wants to do something nice to show he appreciates it. Good job I bought one of those Anchor packs so I have some butter to use. :) x x

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

  • Declaring a spend of £203.43 for June's Grocery Challenge.

Ooops, didn't manage to keep under £200 but am pleased enough with the overall amount as we're eating well on a reduced budget, despite prices creeping up each week.
