£29.52 in Mr A this weekend - pretty good for a weekly shop including enough food for 8 main meals, cereal, milk, bread and lots of fruit. Might just need to get a bit creative for lunches!
Unfortunately only about £10 left in the budget for a full shop next week so might have to spend a bit of July's budget or maybe go to Mr S as we have £20 nectar points - need to have a think.....0 -

Well that`s me done for the month.
Have come under budget:j, i`m tempted to lower the budget for July and see how I go, but not sure by how much yet. I`m sure I can be more frugal with my spends for the month and i`m tempted by the challenge. I`ll sit on it for a few days and report back on the july thread. Afternoon all!
My month starts on 20th (ie payday) and have had spends so far already (we did run our cupboards and freezer almost into the ground last month, whoops)
So, declaring a budget of £200 for 20th June - 19th July
We went shopping over the weekend, and bought in tonnes of fruit and veg from a market on Saturday, and then I did a pretty big shop in Mr T yesterday and in total spent £85 across the two shops
It was definately more than I wanted to spend (I need to aim at budgetting £50 per week) but I did a big coupon shop as we'd just recieved a loads through from Mr T in the post which (for a change) were for products we do buy! So I got a pack of washing powder we won't need this month, next week's dry nites, and loads of meat (I don't think the meat will last the month but it should sure get us a good chunk of the way into it (hopefully over half way?). Also got a few other bits earlier than needed as I had a coupon, like weetabix, snack a jacks, cheese, dog food.
I'm really hoping I've not 'peaked' way too early with the shopping, and I hope I'm right about buying a big chunk of the meat in one go (just for convenience and to make use of offers that were on)
