we could be twins! I gave up smoking last Jan & managed for 8 months - until I started drinking & then the old fags came out! Have rejoined rsoemary conely online & tonight is the last bottle of wine and fags. Tomorrow time to start afresh (again!!) & shift some of the 2 stone I put back on! aggg! will we ever learn eh!! A work in progress I like to think! Sounds like you've been bust & hope that OH continues on the straight & narrow. We all know not drinking makes us feel 100% better but staying off it can be hard! Hugs for you both.

Sounds more of a description of shoplifting than shopping... ;)

Oh my godness - have been fully tested on the not smoking/drinking at home thing today - I went to pick Sophia up from school and SHE WASN'T THERE. Cue full panic - you know, me trying to be calm while running round feeling sick and the teachers also dashing round. Searched for a good 10 mins before another teacher said she'd seen her with another student. Cue me running (not a good image lol!!) to the front of the school to find her with one of her friend's and the friend's grandad who said - thank goodness you've come, I was going to take her to your house. Apparently Sophia and her friend had concocted this story about a sleepover - quite sweet but she'd managed to sneak out of the classroom without being seen. Usually the teacher calls their names when they see us. I felt sooo sick! I took her back into school to see her teacher - Sophia was very quiet. The teacher will be doing some carpet talk with the whole class tomorrow. Had to eat 2 pink and whites when I came home AND have a hot chocolate :D Horrible shock.

Otherwise not much happening - the car passed the MOT so that's good (and cheap!) so I can get the tax now.

Anyhoo, am cooking Sophia's tea so better get off before I burn it! :)
