Yes, I know, both my kids were students and did part time work to cover themselves through further education - it was a tongue in cheek comment.;)
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

Phil, I think you need to see your GP about some sort of help to change your reactions to what most of us see as the usual ups and downs of life.
Perhaps Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
The only way to solve a problem is to be proactive - and that means doing things to change the negative situation.
You have plenty of options - seek help from the Job Centre, get a temp job until you can find a proper one, do voluntary work - whatever.
£20K pa to buy a house is very little, I agree - but you may meet someone, you may want to flat share, you could rent - loads of alternatives.
But, as I say, I think you need to change the way you deal with life.

Another day with no phone call or email about the job. I am a lot cooler and cheered up today and I think I know the stuff for my exam well.
So I am still in no man's land over this job.:beer:0 -
Bear in mind that you might not hear from them at all. A lot of employers nowadays don't inform interviewees about the results.0

I don't think this will sink in with him cute 'n' Quirky as many have told him this  In fact many have told him how to go about finding a job but he hasn't listened - anything positive he turns into a negative with the ifs and buts etc and after that he goes into the woe is me act. This happens on every thread (regardless of the subject) and goes over the same thing .;)
