I have sorted it out now.

I am sick to hell of being so damn sad so I am going to If I can get this weekend job , temp even odd jobs a week to get office experience, then do some management training to build my business knowledge then in 6 months to a year my CV will be vastly vastly vastly improved.

If I use that positive model of 3 ways of improving then I can have hope.

Erw this thread still going on - I don't dare read it but at a guess I bet it goes along the lines of sp getting depressed as he hasn't heard from his potential employer and then wanting to contact them and then people coming in and suggesting some good advice and it being ignored, am i right or am i right??

I finished my exams last tuesday phil, I've started a temp job as a legal assistant today in a horrid financial institution - I applied to 25 jobs, got 4 interviews (still waiting to hear back) and am still applying for a job more in my area of interest.

Its about being proactive and if necessary any jobs to gain further experience and making you more employable, moaning on here ain't going to help anyone! Just think of all them jobs you could of applied to rather than being on here.

For my bit of advice, the reed employment site is an excellent resource for searching for jobs in your area and this was essential for me :)

StudentPhil, have you considered professional counselling/seeing a doctor? You seem to be in a severe state of depression for no reason, which indicates a medical condition, perhaps?

I have got bad stress and most likely depression I know. But I hope a job will resolve it a bit as the unknown that is causing it all will be gone.

I am going to take a bit of a holiday after my exams and hopefully go stay with someone in the family who lives in the country and see if I can get destress a bit and just have a change of scene. I think another visit to the doctor would help too.

You can pick to have a summer graduation, in July, or a winter one in Dec, I picked Dec as it will be too hot in July.
