StudentPhil, have you considered professional counselling/seeing a doctor? You seem to be in a severe state of depression for no reason, which indicates a medical condition, perhaps?

Melissa, this was suggested to him some 8 months ago and he even one day phoned his dr and within 10 minutes of posting had an appointment for some 2 days away and got some anti depressants that he didn't know the name of.e

Posted a couple of times on the depression thread, just to make it look good and that was the end of that.

Ok thanks - as I generally stick to the House & Mortgage forums, I'm a bit new to StudentPhil & his issues!

You just love to try and get at me don't you? It would be fine if you did not twist what I did and said so much.

Hold on a minute, you have your degree final exams now but don't graduate until Christmas?? When you have your finals for your degree around this time you graduate in the summer! Are you actually doing a degree??? Something here doesn't add up me thinks!

That's not necessarily true. My friend is doing an undergrad and she won't graduate until jan despite already doing her finals this week - because they take some students on a january intake..

Also some unis have graduations in summer and winter every year and you can choose.

In my experience, everyone on this forum I have "met" has been very eager to help, full of good advice, and very kind.

I would think about why people are being less polite to you, Studentphil, and think about why some of the comments like those above have been made.

Because I am sad and negative and that is a great barrier to me making progress in life. I am to be fair sometimes crippled by bad emotions but I am doing my best to handle them and I am becoming more of a positive person slowly but surely. I know it is not healthy to sit here so much almost crying and pulling my head off with sadness but angry at the same time.

There is only one person in the whole world who has the power to make you feel a particular way, and that person is you. No-one else can affect how you feel, unless you let them.

    Think about that.

Anyway, I think I've offered what help I can - that's all for me on this thread.

I am thankful for the advice. And if I get it then you can be rid of me.

What happened to you going offline 'until the end of May' to revise for your exams?

That didn't last long, did it?
