Been round the garden with a carrier bag (for poop) and the green bin (for weeds and dead twiggy things). The old cat decided to add to the collection. Mmm...(gets peg for nose).

Removed, from the road edge in front of my house, an empty fag packet and evidence that someone, somewhere, has been having 'more fun than me' along with the packet it was in originally. I assume it fell out of someone's car.:o Bagged and binned now. So Decko - I was thinking of you!

Lawks those binmen earn their money!

After dinner I want to mow the lawn.
What colour peg for your nose, Valli? I hope it co-ordinated with your clothes.... *ducks*:rotfl:

EEEWWWWW re the "more fun than me" item._pale__pale__pale__pale__pale_ Now that would definitely be a disposible glove, a bag, possibly a second bag, and a good scrub of the hands afterwards.

If you really want to mow a lawn, ours could do with mowing..... *runs away*:rotfl:

DD2's tonsilitis has improved to the point that she is now singing along with the radio! She's not enjoying the a/bs - they are affecting her tum somewhat but her tonsils are now almost the correct colour! She's going to need a couple more days of resting, but hopefully she is over the worst.

    Am ironing for Britain here!

I suspect by the end of today I will have washed every towel we own...

Valli - at the school where I work it fell on the nursery nurse to do a c*n*o* sweep of the playground every morning...

    Happy Sunday all.

I am knackered after running around the house at top speed. Today I have:
    - Put away the laundry that was hanging
    - did three loads of laundry and hung that out to dry
    - cleaned the kitchen, scubbed the tiles, empty the toaster of crumbs, did the dishes, put away the dishes, tripped over the cat countless times as he thought he may get an extra feeding
    - picked up in the living room, hallway and bedroom
    - vacuumed the entire house
    - shredded some really old personal papers
    - filed some papers which were neatly piled (now neatly filed!)
    - washed the windows were I can reach
    - emptied the trash and two bags of recycling

Now taking a breather with a cuppa! Who needs to gym ah?

    Good afternoon!

Wow, you've all been very busy this weekend! Well done on the painting, sewing, serious cleaning, gardening, cleaning up of both the nasty split rubbish outdoors and the loud crashing breakages indoors! I think I need to have another cuppa and put my feet up (again) as I'm worn out just reading ;)

It has been a lovely bright sunny few days here and I have had a relaxing weekend with family and done not a lot but that's because it's my birthday:D

Will be back to full flying service again tomorrow :)

_party_  Happy Birthday LouLouCake _party_:dance:

Glad you had a good day, fellow Aries girl. It's my birthday tomorrow!! :j:j

Today I've done washing, drying (outside!) gibble-removing/rehoming and done a bin-bag dance upstairs and down. Everything is looking much neater. S&S kitchen & bathroom. The only thing I need to do is clean the patio door windows. Been out to buy bagels, cream cheese and smoked salmon for DD to make as my birthday breakfast tomorrow  She did the DW and cleared the kitchen when I was out. I met a friend earlier and we did two steps forward, three steps back and a few sideways on the search for her grandfather - I WILL solve the mystery even if it takes me years!!

Hope your headache is gone mumto5 (good to hear that the little ones enjoyed the museum so much!)
Hope you are home and comfy now pigpen
Hope everyone had a lovely Sunday; love to all xx

Potatoes are on and meat all cooked.... looking forward to relaxing this afternoon :)

Well, I did it! Mowed the lawn at the back.
And then got my gardening Mojo from somewhere (thanks for the vibes;)) and dug over the patch which was covered with plastic for two years in a desperate attempt to suppress weeds.
It's next to my 'new' strawberry patch - vaguely remember, at the beginning of this plan, dear Soappie suggesting spuds to help break up the soil. Might get Carol Klein out later (Grow your own veg) and see what one needs with spuds...I do know I need to start with seed potatoes and 'chit' apparently!
I have ironing to do; didn't wash today but I daresay there's some washing wriggled its way into the basket...

Pegs? Moi? ;) No Flower - it's now inbuilt into the Flylady code!:rotfl:

But if you had caught a whiff of what old kitty DID out there...

(She 'shared' DS's indian takeaway last night - need I say more?)

    HSbirthdayck.gif Happy Birthday Louloucake!
