No payment. Payment promised within 3 hours. No payment.
Told to go to office for a foodbank voucher on Thursday. No point before because next day foodbank open in Thursday. Told them I have NOTHING. Told come on Thursday for a voucher with proof of situation (what !!!!!!! proof? Empty bank account???) Told to ring social services. Social services fobbed me off because we aren't a family on their caseload. Children will be dumped at their reception desk at 5pm. I told them as much and have packed 3 bags for each of the kids.

2013? 2013? Might as well top myself

Can you call the vicar of the Church, and get some support from them? Even if it is just someone to sit with you while you make these calls?

Can you call The Samaritans as they were one of the referral agencies?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • You have a few options:

    * Go to the Jobcentre and speak to someone in person - you're far more likely to get help this way, even if it means sitting there for several hours.

    * Contact your MP's local office. Again, going in person would help, but calling them should also get you some support.

The DWP should do what is called a faster payment and that should go into her account almost within an hour. Obvously for some unknown reason that is not working.

I am so angry    this is bureaucracy at its very worst. I know I'm not the only one reading this, who would willingly give you the contents of their fridge to help you.

Do "they" actually agree that you were due the money, and it's their fault you haven't received it yet?

Have you asked to speak to someone higher up who can keep their promise and transfer the money, now?

As the Church have proved to be the only ones helping, please contact them, going to the Rectory/Vicarage if necessary, as they will not see you starve.

I feel so useless, and wish I could help you.

    xx
