to help you check for food banks0 -
If they promised you a payment Tuesday then it should have a same day banking, have you checked that it hasn't gone in and been taken up by other things.
Also payments have been going in up to a week early and have got out of cycle.
Have you moved address or changed banks or anything that would have made the payment not go out
If this is not the case then ring again Tuesday, ask for an escalation call, a manager will make sure your payment and call is sorted out within an hour.
Also
Work and Pensions out-of-hours service can be accessed. The service operates between 10am and 4pm on weekends, statutory holidays and for ‘exceptional office closures’.
The public cannot access this service themselves; they must contact a referral agency who will contact the out-of-hours service on their behalf.
Referral agents include:
• Social Services Departments (SSDs), or Social Work Departments (SWDs) in Scotland
• Police
• Hospital Social Workers’ Department
• Housing Department
• Probation Services
• The Samaritans
This list is not exhaustive.
Some Social Services Departments or Social Work Departments and Police Authorities do not take part in the out-of-hours scheme. If a claimant approaches an authority which does not take part in the scheme, they will give them an emergency contact number.
Any payment given is recoverable. The payments are made by a DWP officer referred to as a Local Emergency Officer (LEO). If it is agreed that a payment is appropriate the officer will visit the claimant to make an award0 -

they assured me of a payment on weds & thurs. nothing happened both days. They didn't say I'd get payment on 2nd - they assured me i'd get a payment last thing on thurs (28th). definitely haven't been paid early, definitely hadn't been swallowed up by other things (i watch every penny so i know)

absolutely no change in circumstances at all. No money in early at all. I've checked as far back as new year

this is what I supposedly had on Thursday - still nothing.

that is interesting about the referral agencies - I'll try those Tuesday if I get no joy. Ironic the police are listed. My daughter was the victim of low-level crime this week. Police visited. Took statement, know the perpetrator but apparently it's not in taxpayers interest to pursue the matter. Funny how they have time to sort out benefits. Just makes me more angry0 -
If you were due last Tuesday then you should have your money then.
They could have done a same day FEP its goes in under three hours.
Am sorry you seem to have had the run around,
Hope you get it sorted Tuesday0 -
Why don't you contact The Samaritans today and get them to refer you to the out of hours service. Don't leave it until Tuesday.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Can't understand why you're thinking of leaving it until Tuesday, get it sorted out via one of the referral agencies today.0

No they haven't. The funds have simply been 'earmarked' to prevent you spending the money (on debit card transactions or cash withdrawals for example) over the long weekend. The money physically leaves your account on Tuesday 2nd April, but - if your account pays it - you'll continue to earn interest on the value up until, and including, Monday 1st April.i think you will find that the direct debits will have already been asked for. they wont wait til the 2nd to take then ... they take them early when there is a bank holiday. i have 4 direct debits due on 1st of the month, and they have already been takeb
Similarly, if you're overdrawn you won't be incurring debit interest on the value of these direct debits until they physically leave your account on Tuesday.
If you check your 'balance' and 'available balance' figures online, and the T&Cs of your account, you'll see what I mean.0 -
Gosh I'm really sorry to read your story. I wish I could help some way - sometimes we take too much for granted. I can't even offer you any advice other than the good advice given by other posters. You could maybe approach your childrens' school - I am sure they would direct you. Hope things improve.0

Are you not claiming child tax credits and child benifit.0
