Hi everyone,
Huge congratulations to NannyG! and a massive well done to hismissus - bet it feels fantastic to be rid of the cc. Nice to see you back abundant too :-)
Not a SFD today but only minimal spends (allotment related stuff but only £6). Have blown the food budget, this week's shopping was a whopper but we include alcohol so I think the budget is maybe a bit too optimistic. If I break it down my £350 budget gives us each £2.30 a day including a weekend tipple for me and DH so going to budget separately for that next month.
Have decluttered a bit more so need to update my signature.
Productive day at home and at allotment (peas and salad sown) and had a free coffee & apple pie from McDs, dropped off a birthday gift for a dear friend's son and another friend in the same st popped out with some choc for DS3 so happy all round. DS1 mentioned moving out :-( would like him to stay at home for longer before he ventures into the world of council tax, rent and all the other bills. DS2 busy washing car for me to make up for money he's had today.
Hope you are all having a good day and the sun is shining where you are.

Afternoon all,
It's quiet on here today, where is everyone?
SFD here today, no plans to even leave the house today now we're back from playing badminton.
Enjoy your Sunday however you spend it xx0 -
Greetings one and all.. I am here! About to catch up on all the posts. Brother has left, room in disarray.. getting boxes out in order to dismantle my bed and get cleaning.
Moving guy comes tomorrow at noon and I want to do the trip in one go and not come back at all....
Puddy-Tat is not very helpful...
May challenge will be up within the hour so watch out...;-)
I will post more tonight....

Yikes, good luck kat. I don't even have the energy to make myself presentable at the minute so I don't envy you one bit! How exciting though, a new house and a new adventure! I have a good feeling about your house move
I'm still under the duvet after a week of nightshifts feeling a bit topsy turvy! I thought payday was going to be yesterday so I was planning a supermarket trip today. No pay til tomorrowI don't actually need anything, I was just trying to be organised as time is as big a battle for me as money and I was hoping to do a spot of batch cooking tonight. I could use the money that's in my savings account ready to pay towards my Santander overdraft and pay it back tomorrow when I get paid - we'll see!
Budgets all still good - low single figures, but all still good
I'll update properly later...oh, and I'll look out for the May challenge as well!
Free listings again on ebay, maybe I'll have to drag myself from under this duvet after all0 -

Congratulations hismissus :j:j. It's lovely to hear when someone in a similar situation becomes debt free, it spurs me on.
NSK, good luck on the house move tomorrow. By the sounds of things you'll easily manage it on one trip with how organised you are. Glad to hear you had a lovely time with your brother.
Well, technically I'm on May's challenge already as DH got paid on Friday. I'm just waiting for the standing order to come to my account so I can save most of it. :j:j
Does putting your cc payments into a savings account until it's due count as paying it?? I've set up a DD for one of my cards for £40 and then I'm adding another £90 as a minimum (to me) payment. I'd like to make sure that if I overpay anything, it won't get taken off my minimum payment as well.
This week I'm hoping to get our car boot stuff ready for a sale on bank holiday weekend. If it doesn't all go, I may do another the week after at the local school. This'll keep me busy and out of the shops :rotfl:TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
Yesterday was a SFD...largely as I was doing a job application & then I didn't end up going out clubbing with colleagues. Felt a bit bad about it, especially as they aren't aware I'm thinking of moving on, but next month is a super expensive month with a trip away for the long weekend & my sisters birthday at the end of the month so I have to be super penny pinching atm. Also, after seeing Kat's May challenge, will be sticking to budget like glue!
Right off to do an eBay clear out & take advantage of free listings.
Happy Sunday all!:idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754

Hi all - ending my April with another SFD- sig to be updated, target missed. went over budget on food but cupboards etc quite well stocked so might recoup in May. I have too many 'unknowns' to join the May challenge - outings, guests etc but will be cheering you all on and still trying to stick to budget as much as possible. I think i have learned to keep as tight a purse as possible now, thanks to Kat and her challenges.
Hope the move goes well Kat. and you enjoy your new home. Good luck for May, everyone.MFIT -T5 #420
