Would the boys in blue act on third party footage of dangerous driving captured on a dash cam ?

Dash cams are a good invest IMO, Good on you for having one really.
Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.

Todays incident was a chap in a Focus over taking on double white lines on a junction, just getting back in time before an oncoming car had to take avoiding action. http://youtu.be/3j4hLggaVdM

Couldn't believe it but should be used to it by now !

Ive had this cam just over a week and this is the second incident, had one yesterday when a truck driver was in the wrong lane and then had a go at me for being in the correct lane. I have been touch with the company concerned in this case, had a reply back from them this morning saying they will look at their footage of the altercation and get back to me.

It's a good video and I'n sure the Police would at least "have a word".

BTW, if you like people to press "Thanks" it's best not to have a sig asking them to ;)
    Can I help?

If you're planning on "reporting" every incident of concern you have every time you're on the road then you're going to be extremely busy and probably soon become an annoyance to all concerned, incl. the authorities. Concentrate on your own driving, life's too short to worry about what everyone else is doing.

The quality of the video is not good enough.

To take action the police need clear evidence. I cannot read the number plate in the video. Although you read it out verbally it does not prove that it was that car. They need indisputable evidence to take action.

Not sure they would have a word as you cant even see the number plate. yes it was bad but as someone who drives a lot every day I see much worse on a regular basis.

ONly yesterday trafficlights went to red I stopped 4 cars back and the car behind me overtook us all and went through the red lights:eek:.

As for the second part of your post thats why i thanked you

What has it got to do with you? The Police will almost certainly not be interested. They would be interested in footage if a crime or accident had been committed but then if i had such footage, i wouldnt be giving it to the Police. I'd be selling it to aggrieved parties to support their claims for compensation.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

I thought folk on here had learn't their lesson about posting video footage.

You other video has no signs on the road or to indicate which lane at that roundabout and if you don't know the road it would be very easy to be in the wrong lane.
