Signals and position. When taking the first exit, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise- signal left and approach in the left-hand lane
- keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave.
- signal right and approach in the right-hand lane
- keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout
- signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.
- select the appropriate lane on approach to and on the roundabout
- you should not normally need to signal on approach
- stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout
- signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.
Don't talk baubles, is the roundabout a 3 lane roundabout ? NO so how do you get three vehicles around that one ? you don't !
TBH cant be arsed arguing the toss there weren't enough lanes for the tanker me and the car to all go around the island, the aerial photo clearly shows what lanes go where as can be seen by the tyre wear on the road.
Why when you can see two marked lanes going around the island and you knew there to be traffic in lanes 2 and 3 would you try and cross into their / my path ? answer that one clever cloggsYou may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

Have you actually looked at the photo of the island ?
He wasn't indicating left or right saying to me he was going straight on along the A18....simples
The chevrons on the second exit give you a clue as to the purpose of the Lh lane and the way they extend onto the junction. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
I think you should consider changing your signature tag - If you had bothered to read post #27, you would see that the poster stated he used the horn not to warn the other driver of his presence, but to let him 'know he had done wrong and think twice next time.' That is a rebuke (look it up!) and is contrary to the highway code.

It doesn't matter what he says he used it for, because at that point in time it was appropriate for the situation.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
