DKu5 or CA43 should be fine
I haven't got a N70 to hand, but am I right in thinking, that DKU-5 is not the right connector and you would need CA43? I'm can do mine through JAF box but I was trying to find a CA43 cable supplier to help someone out and they seem to be rarer than rocking horse poo.0 -

i ahvent got a phone or cable here atm so i cant check the connections
i have found this though if it helps
tested on 6630,
use an old 3310 serial fbus cable and spliced a pop port connection on the other end
cut the head off the serial cable, the 3310 end, you should have 3 wires, white, blue black, black is ground. white and blue are either fbus - or +.
cut off the usb from the pop port and there are 4 wires, ignore red as its not needed,
black to black, and join up the other 2, if you have a multimeter, use it.
make sure connections are properly soldered, you might have to play around and swap the wires like i did, got it working 2nd time around,
i connected black - black
white - green
blue - white
your cable may be different
also another cable mod here

Do I need software or drivers for the cable? PC-Suite uninstalled?
Or just insert cable, F* about with the COM ports till it works?
Thanks
Didnt fancy splicing the DKU-2 Cable, tried another method of cutting my old FBUS Connector and joining it to a USB extension. then into the COM port.
No luck... so DKU-5 should sort it in the end....
1. Connect DKU-5 or normal COM cable to computer
2. Set proper COM cable port (must be, between 1 and 9)
3. Download unlocker, run `install.bat`
4. Open file c:/bb5_unlocker/logs/bb5_unlocker.cfg (Open this with notepad) and enter here proper COM port (1-9)
5. Run c:/bb5 unlocker/BB5logunlocker.exe
6. Click READ PHONE
7. Click MAKE LOG, log will be created
8. Enter codes to phone (in /psw/ dir), or
9. Click SP UNLOCK to enter codes via FBUS0 -
If anybody is unsure there is a video that shows the unlocking procedure here.

Good news - found my DKU-5 cable (there was one supplied with my 6680).
Bad news - none of the COM port settings result in a connected phone!
Downloaded the cable driver and Nokia PC Suite - which does connect to the phone OK.
Any ideas?
Thanks.0 -

Did you adjust your com port to a number between 1-9 in the hardware tab profile and did you open up the CFG file and input this number and save it?0
