    I'm glad things went well.

I was wondering how you were getting on. So do you feel any better about things now you have had a good weekend together?

Hi southwester, I'm sure the ceremony was difficult, well done on how well you coped with it, and I'm glad you had a good time at the reception. It's good that you're creating some new 'happy memories' together, as they're the things that will keep you going when times are tough.

  • Hi you two

The ceremony was hard, espcially the ' staying faithful to one another bit!!

Its difficult to say if things are better, we are both trying but at the end of the day what will be will be, thats the kind of attitude Ive developed recently,

Still getting images, which I will but not as frequent,

When I was going through the aftermath of the split with my ex I relived everything. Eventually it didn't really bother me all that much. Not the best way of dealling but it worked for me. I then went through what I call my 'aid worker in Africa' stage. (rollseyes!)

I thought it would be a good idea to get away from everything and go become an aid worker in Africa. I checked out the jobs and everything, then I decided I probably wasn't stable enough to leave my family and go that far away!

It will get easier one day, I promise you that. But I think it's a good thing that it's become less frequent.

Well I am feeling a lot more positive, even to the extent of being more prepared if the worst happens.

Had a real outburst on Tuesday night, said some things that had been boiling up inside me, which I now regret but its out in the open. We are still trying but she is feeling horrendous with the guilt etc.

Might write another letter as havent done for a month, see what happens

    Hi

Glad you are feeling better. Its good that she feels the guilt, but you also need to help her get over it too. You need to be a big person and help stop the suffering. You both have a lot of history together and too much to throw away, so concentrate on showing your love for each other.
I really hope that you can work it out.

    Hi

Just thought I would pop by to see how your feeling. Perhaps it's good that you have told her the things that have been building up. At least they are off your chest now. She should feel guilt, but you both need to learn to work this out.

    But try to be positive.
