Glad to hear things are on the up. And I am well impressed about the running. Don't feel that I could walk a mile in that time at the moment......!

Early days I know but no sign of the missing ingredient although we are working on it. We are talking about what we like and dont like about things we do generally so going forward for sure, still 50/50 though!22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Hi Southwester, I'm so glad you are trying to make a go of things - the 'missing ingredient' will take time to come back, I'm sure, but give it time and don't try and force it - try and enjoy what you DO have for the time being, don't fret too much about what you don't have. I sincerely hope you find the happiness you are looking for, and I hope you do continue to post and let us know how you are going on."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hi SW
Glad to hear you had a nice weekend. Hope you all enjoyed Pirates of Caribbean. Even though you need to spend time together it's still important to enjoy things as a family.
I catch up on this thread daily but don't very often post a comment. Please continue to keep us informed of how things are going especially as you say it helps you through the bad times.
I truly hope it all works out for you.:j PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS :jPiggy points - 155

Bad night last night, we seem to take 2 steps forward and three back.
Found one of her old credit card statements which had some items on it where she had already told me she met up with him, all before she admitted it so nothing I didnt know about , but all the emotions stirred up again and felt sick to the stomach, told her which caused an argument.
I cant seem to get the images out of mind for even a day!22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

So sorry things have stalled a bit SW, but there are bound to be blips. Something as important as saving a marriage is not going to be plain sailing every day. Just take it one day at a time. We're all thinking of you.
One thing I'm a bit concerned about though is the fact that you 'find' incriminating things of your wife's. Why did you read the old CC statement ?It must have occurred to you that there was a chance that it might have some evidence of the time of her affair on it. Stop punishing yourself in this way. What's happened has happened and you've got to let it go now. You know images of the affair will distress you so why keep looking for them? It's like picking at a scab. Leave it alone or it won't heal. Sorry to be blunt and I hope I haven't upset you more than you already were.

Hi SW,
Sorry you had a bad night last night. But today is another day. Keep moving forward - you both want this to work and of course there are going to be good and bad days. But don't let the bad one yesady ruin what could be a good one today.
Many hugs for you!

Your right IMP, i have to let it go but despite everything we want to do, it is eating away at me still. I wish we were a year on so at least we knew where we stood22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Hi SW
IMP is right but it is very hard not to pick at a scab isn't it. Only time will heal this.
If you find something like that again vent it on here rather than to your missus that way no arguments and you get it out rather than bottling it up
xYou can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0
