Just booked pirates of caribbean tonight for the three of us.
Was going to go with Mrs SW, but little southwester would have gone spare if he knew we were going to see one of his favourite films.22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Just a quick update as I dont plan on posting too much longer.
We have decided that we are going to give it a go, some of you may think Im foolish but that is what we want to do. We both want to make it work, we both have to make changes and realise that it could be a long road, that may or may not work at the end of it but that is what we have decided.
We both now want to look to the future and not the past, which is going to crop up, we now that and I will probably get images for a long time to come.
We know that she has to learn to want me again, nothing will be easy.
Hopefully this will make us stronger after the hardest time of our lives.
It has been a great help, especially when I first posted and was in a complete state of shock, thank you all for supporting me.
xx
SW - I think this is lovely news. Your marriage is important to you, and does seem to be so for your wife too. I'm pleased that you are both going to try to repair the pain caused. I can understand you not wanting to post much more - your marriage is your marriage and sometimes peoples own experiences may not help. That said, I do hope you continue to post - not necessarily relating to your marriage, but about your journey to be debt free.
I wish you and your wife well. I'm sure the pain has been overwelming at times, however the fact that you are fighting for your marriage is a wonderful thing to hear about. The path may not always be easy, so I wish you all the best. Thank you for sharing a very emotional and personal time.

Many thanks Frugal Fox
I will continue to post if people want to know how its going, I think it helps me through the bad times too!!
There seems to be a lot more cuddles at the moment, not sure if that is just comfort zone or not, we are spending more time together, we are hopeful but not optimistic if you know what I mean?? We need to stay in the reality zone and realise there is a long road to travel on.
Thanks

Hi
Glad things are getting better.
In my experience, the more you do together, the more you have in common, so spending time together will help on its own.
On the other side of things, this may seem a bit out of order, but one of the things that used to attract me most was when OH found me attractive. Being treated as if I was sexy made him highly desireable. Does that make any sense? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
No Ras
It makes perfect sense
We have had a good weekend together, a few moments of discussion we would rather not have but in these early days I suppose we will. Still very early to see if it will work out but both trying hard.
Ran the Half Marathon on Sunday in 1;56;49 so was delighted with that, aim was to break 2 hours.22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

SW - Fantastic result over the running - I've only just started and I'm a bit slower than a snail currently!
Pleased to hear that you had a good weekend. I do hope things work out well for ALL of you. You sound like in spite of all that has happened that you have a strong family unit and you both seem committed to making this work."A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength.
